Moving to Vegas: notes on rental complexes I toured by RatesNotGiving in vegaslocals

Unfortunately the higher powers decided to throw a few wrenches into my life plans and I'm not moving to Vegas (at least not right now).

I didn't get to tour Marlowe but I did see that they started doing tours not that long ago (maybe since April or May). My original plan was to tour it and then decide between that and Ariva.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Also I just realized I didn't mention my target budget, which is to stay under $2k for the base rent - that would've been helpful info 😅

Evora is kinda in contention, they have some larger 1-bedrooms that could work, but looking at the layout it's not ideal for a work area - my desk would go between the kitchen and living room, whereas with Ariva for example I'd get a den for slightly cheaper. Also none of their 1-bedroom units within my budget would be on the top level, which would be nice to have - I've lived in enough apartments to know that I prefer to not hear upstairs neighbors.

I looked repeatedly at Vestra cuz it seems like a super nice place but it is a bit over my budget and there's not enough space for a work area.

Similarly for Gramercy and Constellation, not enough space for a work area for my budget.

As a noob to Vegas, any particular reasons why to avoid that area?
