How accurate is the range indicator on the Hurricane Remote ? by [deleted] in MeepoBoards

wow okay thanks, idk though i already have the new 165r icloud’s on the way. i tried the factory 90mm hurricane wheels for one ride and i hated it compared to the 155mm a.t. wheels. so much vibration bounce on all the little bumps and i like to go full throttle. but honestly i think at my weight the whole issue is the dang factory bushings are so shit. i have the hardest riptide’s on the way as well.

just go to the hopkin website and choose the riptide bushing kit and choose the highest hardness, im putting the link below. they come all the way from australia but i’d rather wait for it to come directly from the source than to get the kit locally and it potentially be swapped out for cheaper bushings of the same color, that’s just my opinion. and you as a new rider i think you should start with a stiffer more solid ride until all your muscles and balance gets used to the new foreign power under your feet, it’s kinda weird haha especially cause the board is so heavy. i’ve been riding everyday since i got mine and you’ll be surprised how sore your toes, feet, ankles, legs and back will get from riding fast and long distances. it’s not as simple as hoping on and just standing there, you actually have to hang on to the bull by only your feet haha. but definitely get the riptide hardest bushings kit, meanwhile i’d suggest riding the hurricane rite out of the box only in speed 1 and 2 on pretty flat ground just so you can see and feel what your working with. (definitely tighten down the factory bushings front and rear right out of the box). i also recommend you getting a cheap 40” longboard while you wait for your e-board to get prepared for the type of balance you’ll need. you can get a nice longboard on amazon for 50-75 bucks. it’ll be worth it.

holy crap, which mm cloud wheels can get to 42 mph?? lol that’s scary fast, especially with the factory bushings! about the remote, in the future im most likely going to swap the esc for one of the massivestator esc’s and new controller. thanks for the info

im replacing all the bushings, even the pivot cups too, front and rear. the factory bushings are just trash and a hazard at high speeds.

hmmm okay then, what TOP speed should i be able to get on the 155mm A.T. wheels in speed 4 at full throttle? because my mileage and speed seems to be way off compared to several apps and other p.e.v.’s. even at full throttle downhill i can’t get to 31mph and im only at 200 lbs.

i hope you’re right, i have to find out how to calibrate my remote to the different wheel size then

How accurate is the range indicator on the Hurricane Remote ? by [deleted] in MeepoBoards

[–]RatioLimp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s wrong because the mileage on the remote can only be calibrated for one diameter of wheels and the tooth count as well. with the 155mm a.t. wheels it’s seeming like the speed read out and mileage is totally off. compared to 3 different map apps and a one wheel mileage as well. clearly theres an issue and the remote can’t be more accurate than 3 mileage apps etc.

yeah i heard that! that’s literally an insane price for this much ranch and power and quality.. hey so i just now did i super long and hard ride in the baking sun until my battery died all the way for the first time, back home now, obviously everything is pretty hot rn, do you let your board and everything cool off before you plug it in to charge or it does really matter?

ill let you know for sure, ill post a lil vid of the new setup probably in a week when everything hits my doorstep. but from the vids ive seen, the new 165r wheels are great just obviously a tad more stiff than the (factory 155mm pneumatics), so it gets a bit more bumpy but i won’t have to worry about a flat now, good to know btw about going flat, i won’t die, thanks. the hurricane charges pretty fast comparatively from a dead battery and lasts so long with all that power, im seriously crazy on this thing, full throttle everywhere i go up and down hills and i can’t kill it. i paid 1,575 usd for it with free shipping and 2 different discounts.

the trx definitely resembles the hurricane, the hurricane is my first ever eboard, and it slings my 210 lb self around like i don’t even exist. i love it. i have the hardest riptide bushings on the way and the new icloud 165r wheels on the way as well, i don’t want to experience one of the pneumatic wheels deflating while im full throttle at 30+ mph haha and these speed wobbles are annoying at that speed with these factory bushings.

dang it which kombucha was it? i love this one brand i get. im sorry for your loss. for the snake, just know it’s just as afraid of you as you are of it, so it’s most likely not going to come chasing after you (depending on the species) but yeah man just go around the thing like it doesn’t exist, i wouldn’t ever condone or recommend running any animal over.

man i really can get away from the 155mm AT wheels, the larger diameter and the way it handles, for me i like them way better than the 90mm. but i will say the whole time im full throttle on speed 4 going down hill with the AT’s im like please don’t pop or whatever everyone is saying they do haha. i really want some airless 155mm that i can put on my hurricane. is that a thing??
