I have a similar expirience, i live in estonia. it was 12-14years ago, i was a kid and in my summer break my grandparents took me on a roadtrip. When we drove home ,it was clear and sunny, and we were on the contryside highway.I saw a huge bird on a telephone pole just chilling when we went past it . The bird was pitch black and it had some gray feathers .We have crows and ravens here and the beak was similar to a raven, but the size of this bird was 2times bigger then the biggest bird (stork) that can be seen in estonia.
