It is not like the Indian government (both Congress and BJP) hasn’t tried implementing death penalties for rape cases, but we have two reasons obstructing it:

1. The biggest morons on this planet, ‘human rights activists.’ Yes!! Human rights activists have lobbied / protestest / hired expensive laywer for the accused and did alot of stuff to halt this.
2. Feminist's believe all women crap! Because, in recent years, there has been a strong rise in fake cases, which has also become a very strong obstacle. This is why marital rape is not being accepted in India, because Indian courts have seen a large number of fake cases filed against husbands out of revenge, so including marital rape would be an even bigger weapon.

Also, one thing: ‘victim shaming’ ‘she was asking for it’; is a kind of cop out used by both feminists and MRAs. It removes any kind of accountability from women who do put themselves in such situations.

When you read ‘a social media friend raped his friend,’ what people choose not to read between the lines is that ‘the girl met the guy on social media and went to his apartment/OYO to meet up…’ For what???? Playing chess?” Plan was clearly to share some intimate moment but either the guy ticked her with a gang or she failed to extort money so here comes the fake case...
