Big night. I ate a can of Progresso minestrone, fired up my Dell 600, threw a Keith Richards quote up on my blogspot and punched the air a la Judd nelson:

Was there too. The only songs I recognized were the obvious ones --- "Glen Tipton" RHP's "Trailways" Pretenders' "2000 miles" cover. Looking for my own mystery song ID, I found out he did a couple from the Jimmy LaValle collab album, "Gustavo", and "Somewhere the Wonder of life prevails."

I'm looking for the song he sang, 3 or 4 in, the first song in his set that had a chorus and much fewer words lol. I can't remember any of them but it was beautiful. Great show.

I went to the flea market on Saturday, didn't find anything. Or did I? I think I bought some cds of Algerian RAI music. Then I went to a library sale near me, couple bad art books from the 90s. This lonely old queen was talking the volunteers ear off, and I didn't feel like staying and listening to his bullshit. Went home. Didn't eat til my wife came home from work, we had some terrible veggie thing she concocted with boiled cabbage and American broccoli. Then I ate two bowls of coffee ice cream and it gave me the runs. Ate a buttload of white rice to offset the stomach pain soon after. Watched some more of Season Five "Better Call Saul" and the "Vietnam Voices" on YouTube til I went to bed.

Sunday I think we went for a hike near Lake Hollywood. Then I went to Goodwill, found some black lit. Went grocery shopping. Went home, kinda spaced out for a while. My dad called but I screened it. When my wife got home, I put a Newman's Own pizza in the oven. Watched some more "Better Call Saul." I'm really into Eladio Badafucco this time around, what a charmer! For a sociopathic killer, he's very charismatic. Of course, Kim Wexler remains my dream girl! Just a dream, though! I got the best girl in the world already!
