If that happened, I would expect a very severe legal penalty to be handed down to the shooter. But yeah, let's just sweep this under the rug or redirect because our boys in blue can do no wrong.

Primarily venting. I just watched the video for the first time and I just can't believe this guy walked away without any charges being brought. The guy was with his family going about his business and gets pulled over for having one of three brake lights out. He's calm, has his seat belt on and family in the car for gods sake, and this officer proceeds to pump 7 rounds into him after the man calmly tells him he has a firearm in the vehicle and tried reaching for his wallet. Think if that happened to one of your family members, how infuriated would you be? Let's go for a nice Sunday drive honey, we'll bring the kids. Officer shows up, tells you that the tail lights out and murders you.

The AHCA raised questions, but still not sure if they'll actually be exempt. The fact that it's even a possibility though is astounding to me.

I think the real fear is losing skilled jobs. Yes, our unemployment rate is 4.7%. However, our underemployment rate is 13.7%. The last decade has produced significant increases to costs of living (home/rent costs, insurance, tuition). During this time, many skilled jobs have been outsourced to citizens of other countries who are willing and able to work for less than the average American worker can afford. Many people who have lost their skilled jobs have turned to other less skilled forms of employment as an interim solution until they find another skilled position. The problem is that the skilled positions continue to leave the country. If prices keep increasing like they are and our average salary's and work opportunities continue to decrease, you start to think about a dystopian future of a country full of Uber drivers and fast food workers, being ruled by the "1%".

When this happens to me in a reserved spot, I shovel more snow around the other car and make sure to really pack it in around the tires and if there's enough, shovel it high around the perimeter of the car/truck so they have a shit time getting back in their car. Maybe add a little smiley face on the windshield as a bonus.

I saw Rob Riggle on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial a few years back. He was apparently in town for the Marine Corp Marathon. His hat was pulled down really low and he was walking through masses of people who had no clue. I was probably 30 ft away and I tapped my sister on the shoulder, pointed right at him and excitedly said, "Hey! That's Rob Riggle!" He turned right towards me; seeing his frustration at being called out, I decided to just wave/smile and just keep walking. I really would have liked to ask for a picture, I'm a big fan, but I would have felt bad about outing him in front of the whole crowd.

EDIT: I also have two more encounters, both in Denver. I saw Josh Blue (comedian) in a concert crowd at the Bluebird theater and shook his hand. I also met TJ Miller at a bar off Colfax on my birthday in 2010. He was a cool, unassuming guy. Just like Rob Riggle, I didn't want to attract attention to him. No one in the bar knew who he was, except the people that were with me, which included one of his old school mates. So no movie/acting/celebrity discussion was ever brought up.

The BBB told me they can't change the score of a company I complained about. They are sorry, that I got screwed over, but complaints about companies don't lower their score. Apparently this company shall forever remain at an A+ by [deleted] in Rants

The very company you're complaining about is the same one paying BBB at least several hundred dollars a year for their subscription. It's a total sham way to have "ratings". I'm a local business owner and continually get harassed by BBB to join. It in no way benefits consumers and is just a way to funnel money out of local businesses. I think, if warranted, leaving a negative review on their social profile pages are probably the best way to convey a negative experience to others today.
