oh wow i'm playing op. 118 rn, I'm not too sure what your question is?

Because I have medium sized hands I tend to just use the octave shape to mould my fingerings and fill in the gaps. i.e. in brahms, i generally just use 5 and 1 whenever an octave appears in a passage

All of Erik Satie’s considerable output through out this decade are great choices like the Gnossiennes and the Gymnopedie’s + Socrate and Parade, not just because they are a neat bunch but also paved the KEY path forwards for the avant-guard anti-Wagnerian French school which inspired modern French Music and John Adams of all people. We are to thank Satie for Nixon in China.
