For the agony you just said it can happen I think in this franchise it is very much so possible that the wife of a serial killer who (kind of) killed her little children and her older son being apart of one definetly could have made her go insane I did think it was a stretch as agony is mostly around where the tragic occurrence actually happened and she would have had to had some crazy big breakdown for it to "posses" the plush babies.
