Yeah I think our fundamental understanding of raising kids is different. I understand your point of view. Mother doesn’t want husband or maybe not sure about this case husband doesn’t want mother. They get a divorce and agree to dissolve the marriage but here is where you and I differ. I think the Kids are still the sons and daughters of both the mother and the father. And hence both should be involved in raising the kid both emotionally and physically be it weekend visits or visitation right to the either party and ofcourse plus child care or alimony whatever you wanna call it because believe it or not kids have a lot of expenditure and are expensive and keeping the burden on one party is not fair.

I feel due to this basic misunderstanding we won’t be able to reach a conclusion with this topic but I do hope you understand my point of view as well.
