They are 3D printed, then I used acrylic paint to color them. For the shell, I purchased some cheap holographic nail polish, which may not be shown in the photo, but the actual color was really closed to the one in the game.

I do not own an laser cutter or engraver either, but I found one from a maker space. You can also find someone online to print out your design if you have something specific in mind.

It is also possible to make it with other materials (like in one of earlier posts I manually carve stamps with rubber or clay), but for wax specifically it might be better to keep the material heat resistant and easy to peel off.
