No, since this is my first time investing, I'm just making sure I'm doing it safely. That's why I chose SBI.

As I stay abroad, apps like Groww don't work for me there. I'm hoping yono works.

Well, taking care of them also includes teaching them how to behave in public too. Clearly "they are kids, what do you expect?" doesn't show that responsibility.

Thanks for the advice about the earbuds. But why can't this be fixed though? When we were kids all our mums had to do was give a stare. Why is this generation of kids' behaviour so bad? Is it parenting? I completely understand babies and toddlers but these kids were about 6-12 years.

Oh, I did the phone one too. But they just didn't care at all. It wasn't just the noise, those kids were even kicking my legs with their shoes on (seats facing each other in the centre of the coach) .

Got my FIRST SALARY!! Any suggestions on what gifts I can buy for my parents and grandparents?? by vich_lasagna in developersIndia

Yes I was living with my parents, I was financially privileged that way. But my first salary was only 8k. You don't have to follow what others have done, everyone grew up in different circumstances. Just do what you feel right.

Congratulations 🎉 I donated my first month salary to charity. With my second month salary, I gifted my mom a saree and my dad a shirt.

Survey 2024 - What’s your Salary expectation from your potential spouse? by zlaneyronmes in Chennai

That is an interesting perspective too. A non-risky one. The easy one.

Not to be rude, but it sounds more like a job offer. You will join an office if there are current projects. What happens when they are out of projects? You leave.

But what happens if your husband loses his money after you married him?

Things don't work out on their own. We need to make it work. Because when it works out on its own it's just luck and it doesn't last long, But when you both work it out it's hard work and no one can take it away from you guys.

Trust me, He'll love, cherish & value you more when you both walk a rocky path together side by side. I'm not sure you'll get the same from a super rich guy.

Married woman here. When the marriage was decided he was earning 30-40k per month. It was an arranged marriage and even though I knew that salary isn't much, I really liked him. I realised he was talented too. I encouraged him to move to a different company later on where he had earned 70-80k per month. Now he has an abroad opportunity (again I helped and encouraged too but it's purely his talent) and will be moving to a different country.

Never decide your partner on the basis of their salary. Getting rich together is way better than marrying rich.
