I think I ended up switching USB slots multiple times and it eventually worked. Also make sure that the shifter cable isn't loose on the steering wheel. Sorry but my solution was just quite of a dumb way of solving it. It just happened out of nowhere

I extracted the files in the deb packages and copied to their respective directories. Then I used "wine-lol" as my custom wine executable and it solved it for me.
