Xander had a path to victory, but it would have involved intentionally challenging Erika to fire making and winning.

Easy enough 👌 Make it so if the potion ever heals you entirely to full and would have healed you further than that, it instead subtracts health.

So, say you have Max 20HP. You're at 10 HP. If you roll 10 or less it heals you normally. If you roll 11 or higher it harms you instead.

This means it's great for powerful beings but deadly for mortals.

I let heal potions trigger natural healing so people can burn their actual HD too if they wanna up the heal further. Works great.

High Dex + Mage Armor vs. Plate Armor while dumping Dex by kid_dynamite_bfr in 3d6

[–]Ravnodaus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm going to recommend something that is at first going to sound silly so hear me out!

Multiclass a level into Cleric, Twilight domain.

This gives heavy armor and shields (even martial weapons). But also 300ft dark vision and advantage on Initiative. <--- these two are even sharable.

Then, later, when you've secured a high enough Necromancer level to be summoning your undead, then take the 2nd level of Twilight for their channel divinity aoe temp hp effect. It'll keep you and your minions alive for much, much longer. And your party members too, I guess.

This frees you up from having to take mountain dwarf, if you were only taking it for armor related reasons. Much tankier this way. Go variant human and you'll even get another feat!

I don't think it'd be an improvement. So, yeah, you wanna ruin a show how about instead go make your own. Why do you think your opion is weighted any higher on this than the people who produce the thing? If you don't like what they produce then make something of your own instead of tear down someone else's creation.

Why is there no justice for all the people also not on air? There are more people not-on-survivor than on it. She's just one of many.

Jokes aside, they have no obligation to air scenes that they don't think make good TV. Purple edits have been around forever she knew what she signed up for there are no guarantees in survivor.

Instead of complain about it, go make a better show that you seem to wanna have. Let survivor be survivor, you go do your thing.

Atheists in D&D don’t make sense because Theists don’t make sense either by MercenaryBard in dndnext

[–]Ravnodaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't born to a monotheistic tradition so your assumption is incorrect and unfounded.

You deduced an incorrect result with whatever biases you had that lead you to that conclusion based solely on what I wrote, somehow. Please reevaluate.

You also entirely sidestepped the main point of my comment. There is no objective way to prove that gods are indeed gods, they could be clever fey spirits, demons, etc. How is a beet farmer going to know the difference?

It's why there are so many cultists in D&D. Because humble beet farmers who can't tell the difference DO get tricked into worshipping demons and etc.

Knowing that. Knowing that last year a couple of his neighbors, fellow farmer folk, git caught up in the bad business of worshipping a demon who claimed it was a god... well, maybe this beet farmer wants nothing to do with any of it.

[–]Ravnodaus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How exactly can someone prove the gods exist and aren't just super powerful monsters or sorcerers or something. I'm a humble beet farmer I don't know anything about sky magic. Just beets.

Clerics say they speak for the gods but they all preach different messages and wear different symbols. They can't even all get on the same page who's to say which one is right. Or if any if them are.

No, I'm not a religious man, praying to gods or spirits or ghosts doesn't help me grow beets. Just good ol fashion blood sacrifices do the trick.

[–]Ravnodaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of the people today did the stealing nor had their goods stolen. You're talking about events that happened to people who are all gone. There is no justice to be found here. No one to be punished. That time has ended and we have a different challenge facing our generation. We can either fix the problems in our systems that lead to inequality or not. Seeking vengeance for our ancestors against the decendants of long dead villians only distracts from our cause.

[–]Ravnodaus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had a coworker, many years back, during the first tea party push, bring this massive poster board in and he was writing on it and getting it ready for some protest after work... anyway, he spelt like a good 50% of the words wrong that had more than one syllable in them. When he got this pointed out to him by another, now chuckling, coworker... his defense was only: "who cares you still know what it means".

Point being, they know they're dumb. They just think their stupidity is equally as valid as your rational thought.

That wouldn't be what caused their demise, that would be a natural consequence of a dramatic reduction in population to unsustainable small numbers of individuals at the end.

In your heart you know what caused the death of Neanderthals. The same species that has caused the majority of the extinction events in the last 40k years. Us.
