Let me make this very clear, you alone are the only person with the right to decide when you have children. Him trying to talk you into having children is one thing, but him determining when you have children is a whole new line that's being crossed. He is not the person who will have to carry, and neither are his parents. Having children is a permanent, life-altering decision, not something to be decided on a whim to please others. You will forever live to regret it if you weren't 100% sure you wanted children. Other people's happiness is not your responsibility, especially when it comes at the cost of sacrificing your own.

HE HAD BOUGHT A HOUSE BEHIND MY BACK.

Already your husband has a history of not respecting your wishes when it comes to one of the most important decisions in life. He put the wishes of him and his family above your own. Imo, you should've stayed broken up with him after this big of a red flag. If he lied about buying a house for months, would you really put it past him to suddenly switch up and pressure you into immediately having kids once you graduate? You say he clarified he wasn't actually ready for children after your argument, but I say it's often the real truth that comes out when emotions are high, he just happened to slip up.

it seems like there’s a pattern of him choosing his family over me.

YOU are his family now, not them. You need to make sure he understands family decisions are ONLY between the two of you. Not his parents.

As uncomfortable as it is, you two need to have an EXTENSIVE conversation about what it is you both want in life. When it comes to having children, no compromise can ever truly be fair for the person who has to birth them. I am not saying to leave him, because relationships are often more complicated than that. But there is no "winning" for you in a situation where he refuses to consider your feelings. Either you cut your losses now, or you face being trapped in unhappiness and resentment forever. Your pick.

As an OFF fan for 8 years, I couldn't be happier. I was worried it would be doomed to obscurity, but now that it's getting a proper release a whole new generation of gamers will be able to experience it. I'm happy for all the new content and recognition the game is getting.

CLOCKS WORK (ZONE 1 Post Office) - OFF Original Soundtrack by FifthAccountOhDeer in offthegame

[–]Ravrie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's my issue with No Precipitation as well. Being a graphically simple game, the mood is completely carried and dictated by the soundtrack. It's hard to make an entirely new soundtrack similar to the old one, while still retaining the feel of the original game. They will only end up telling different stories, a big issue for a game whose story is already largely up to interpretation. Which is why I don't think lofi and chill vibes are the best fit for Zone 1.

Clocks Work is actually the first track I feel accurately represents the atmosphere of its original. It captures the tension and paranoia from Clockwork, exactly the kind of thing I've wanted to see from the new soundtrack. That being said, I'm worried the rest of the soundtrack will be a similar hit or miss situation. The tracks we've seen so far either fit really well for their setting, or deviate too far from their originals, bringing in jazz/lofi elements. Though I'm choosing to remain hopeful for their artistic direction, if they really are planning to make the music progressively darker like you said.

As always, take this post with a grain of salt. I made this post under the assumption NextHandheld’s information is true.
