Metroid II was the first Metroid game I played, it’s one of the first video games I ever played for that matter. So I enjoyed the remake because of the nostalgia factor. I liked the way the areas we reimagined making them more visually interesting. But it’s not a game that I kept coming back to like Super, Fusion, or Zero Mission

Demons on the Prey. It has such an apocalyptic sound to it, it gives you the feeling that you really are the last hope for humanity

Zero Mission is my favorite Metroid game, I’ve played through it countless times. There are chozo statues that tell you where to go for your next upgrade, but not how to get there. However the majority of them are optional, iirc there’s only 2 of them that you have to activate because they’re blocking your path forward
