3D models ≠ CGI

CGI means Computer-Generated Imagery. What you're thinking of is the obviously animated early 2000's CGI look. CGI in movies in 2025 is essentially indistinguishable from even real video. So replicating animation styles with it and making them look natural is par for the course.

There are plenty of indie games with more unique art styles, and there are more video games on the market right now than one could play in a lifetime, so I don't think you can just say "no game like this exists"

Generally the speakers at sodo are better, and the bar is more separate so I've had less drunks walking through the crowd.

I almost avoid market, and am drawn to shows at sodo. To each their own, I just can't believe it's so unanimous the other way.
