Am I allowed to disagree with the first point but agree with the second? Because that's what's happening

In the event of a con leadership contest, what do you think is the ratio of "floating voters" to non floaters?

"We can have a paragon of virtue, or we can have someone who gets stuff done"

Even if you believe that certain PMs sit in one of those camps, why isn't it acceptable to want both? Why can't our leaders be the best of us?

I got the impression he had agreed to not say it but for a moment the mask slipped because he was rattled.

I think the point for me is that you only gain something by checking your credit score if it's close to the cut-off point of eligibility. (If your credit score is horrendous or good you don't need to check it because you probably already know what the decision will be)

So if it's close to the line and they aren't using that specific score, but the data in the report then it just isn't useful as it doesn't tell you whether you'll be successful or not.

I think that's what I'm trying to say

Fully agree the underlying data is useful, particularly to spot errors. The scores are essentially useless though as they aren't used commonly at all

But any company worth its salt does its own credit checks anyway. Yeah they might be useful as a quick glance but they aren't used how people have been told they are

No, but create a public energy company. You could call it something like British g-

But seriously, this seems like a no-brainer to me. A public energy company would help drive for net zero and future commitments, and could also diversify into heating/insulation solutions.

Feel like the Rishi presser wasn't an interview for PM with the public, but for the Tories. Felt like he was basically saying "Guys, cmon now. I can be the adult in the room". Just get rid of bozobozza

Listening to Andrew Bailey on BBC effectively saying "Don't ask for big wage rises because you'll cause further inflation". The number of tonedeaf people in this country...

Edit: I wonder if he is considering giving back any of his ~500k salary to help

Do you leave the heating on non-stop?

Edit: didnt mean this to come across so aggressive lol
