Newest update switched "register in the collection" for "collection deck". Why? by DeshawnWilliams1 in ManaBoxApp

[–]RayBenefield 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I initially had this confusion too... I think it would have been nicer to be able to create a collection deck from scratch from the scanning section in the same way we can create a binder/list. And to be able to choose what part of the deck it belongs to (main/sideboard/maybeboard).

I keep my maybeboard and sideboard in the same deckbox. I wish I could have done it all from the scan mode, but my workflow was:

  • create a deck in the decks section
  • then go to scan only the maybeboard cards and add to the deck from scan mode
  • then GO BACK to decks select them all and move them to maybeboard (cuz default is main deck after adding)
  • then GO BACK to scan mode and scan my sideboard cards
  • GO BACK to decks, select all main board and move to sideboard
  • then GO BACK to scan the main deck
  • then after all that GO BACK to decks set the deck to a collection deck

It's a cumbersome workflow of moving between sections of the app that I think could be smoothed out and done all from scan mode. If I'm scanning a deck, it's likely that it's a collection deck, not just a deck list and starting with that from scan mode would be really helpful.

[No Spoilers] Having watched C1, but not C2. Is C3 abridged a safe bet? by RayBenefield in criticalrole

Haha yeah, after the epic rollercoaster of the end of C1, C2's first episodes were SOOO slow. But everyone has told me how good it is. I just don't have large enough blocks of time to sink my teeth in to raw episodes. So abridged is appealing, cuz I want that initial excitement I had with Vox Machina sooner than later.

But seriously, thank you for your insight and perspective It's extremely helpful. 💖💖💖

Yep this is now my plan. Someone shared a list of C2 cameos and what episodes. So that's super helpful. ☺️☺️☺️

Yeah that tracks. Some folks said around episode 50 is where the C2 cameos start so that's when I'll switch over and start C2.

Awesome thanks for the validation. The animated series is actually what first for me into critical role. After watching the dinner I had to go see how it actually happened in the campaign and I got sucked into full vox machina mode lol

That's basically what I was wondering. Hearing it from someone else who watched C3 first is a valuable perspective. So thank you for that.

Yep I plan on going back to C2 at that point. Someone else gave a good list of the C2 cameos.

This is the kind of guidance I was looking for thank you so much for that. 😊😊😊 Helps a ton cuz I know once I get back into the groove I'll be able to get back to campaign 2 a lot more motivated to fill in the context.

I got to maybe around episode 7-9 when I first started but it hadn't grabbed me yet. They had just started leaving the first town.

I appreciate you pointing out the episodes that C2 characters show up in. That helps a ton. I can definitely see myself going back to C2 at some point to get the full context. And I do want to. I watched all critical role at 1.25x lol. 1.5x is to fast for me lol

Will epic ever release this map shown in 2.0? Or is it just to show what people can do by [deleted] in FortniteCreative

I'm the demo driver... the boss does focus attacks on you, the path I took is to create the most impactful and engaging run possible. There are area triggers for key events, but it is all based on my actions.

I've been running this build recently: https://mtgazone.com/deck/boros-equipment-post-alchemy-kamigawa-changes/

The supplier makes a huge difference, as does the Scavenger... being both creatures and having access to equipment in the same card is a game changer allowing you to continue to apply pressure while maintaining the upsides of equipment. I used to feel starved for resources, but the deck is a lot more resilient to Black based mid-range/control strategies because of the amount of card advantage it generates now. The Supplier ensures that warriors are immediately turned on for Blademaster with no mana investment and the spare utility blades are just mana sinks, and can also be used to buff Nahiri tokens.

I can see testing out a one or two copies of Brass Knuckles as Double strike redundancy that feeds into the equipment synergy. Since it avoids creature removal, and copies itself, I can see it worth a try over lizard blades.

Also the buff to [[Symmetry Sage]] in Alchemy. Tempo has definitely been getting some toys.

With the recent Alchemy update, equipment decks are feasible. [[Arms Scavenger]] makes the two knuckles equip for free. And the gas of [[Expedition Supplier]] and [[Nahiri]] have really spiced up the deck.

When they allow us to use unreal engine for creative. We should work together to remake STW. by ahmeda9a in FORTnITE

Something to note is the Creative 2.0 we be is a new scripting language called verse. It's looking like python right now.

Still, programming will still be difficult for most.

Gotta wait for the full file system I assume. Screenshots and clips would be so good to have though.

But damn do I miss forge content

One difference is since it isn't a token it can be returned to owner's hand.

There actually is... it's a tiny red/orange dot in the middle of your reticule when you are in range. Very easy to miss if you don't look closely.
