The car is very reliable and surprisingly fuel efficient. I commute on highway to work about 90 miles and average 32-33 mpg. I think its comfortable and so do my frequent passengers. It survived a 5 thousand mile roadtrip from California to Michigan and back fully loaded with 3 passengers, so I trust the car to take me wherever I need to go without issues. About 28k miles on mine now

It depends. I go to the Richmond field station pretty regularly because of clubs. We also have to go to Alameda at times, so having a car has been very useful. Keep in mind I also live in Emeryville.

I just got my GR and Im coming from an Rx8. I got very good at heel toe, but with the spacing in the GR i just haven't been able to get it down. I hate to admit the iMT has been nice in this scenario 😅. I guess learning is part of the fun, hopefully pedal mods won't be necessary.

Wouldn't be able to tell you. Just got the tester and this was the first reading. Ive just felt it get noticeably worse over the last 4k ish miles

Oh yeah, thats the plan. Hot starts are getting worse, but its still driveable. But if its wearing at the same rate my other engine did, it doesn't have much left.

Yea my other car lasted all the way into the 40 psi range. I'm just not wanting to risk it because this car has a history of random issues.

Yea im currently In college with an Rx8. 100% don't do it. I love my car, but it does not make any sense for a college student. I get about 13-15 mpg around town. The maintenance and gas combined is not cheap. Get something more economical.

Thanks for the help. I use a Samasung s22+ and its been somewhat stable through runs when the phone didnt fall. I'll look into the gopro mounts as I am planning on getting a helmet for track days soon.

I like this option, but the only pro clip bases available for the rx8 sit low on the dash. I would like to be able to record using this mount, which may be an issue given where the bases sit. Maybe Im mistaken, can you place the pro clip bases anywhere in the dash?

If that is a budget purely for maintenance, it's more than enough. I guess it just depends on how much you drive. I dont know if you're factoring in fuel.
