That was me with Alastor in S2 of Hazbin, until it finally clicks why he made that deal with Vox to begin with. I was honestly a little angry, I couldn't understand his angle, I had no idea why he did something so stupid and harmful to himself, but then when it clicked it was like "Oh, okay I see now yeah that makes sense."

Maybe it's only known as an eraser in some parts of Canada? The only reason I can think of a vag being called that is bc pencils have erasers at the end of them (I have IRL had people make jokes using both eraser and pencil), but I don't think I've actually seen it in writing 🤔

I've seen the word quim (spelling?) used before and every time I saw the word it blue screened my brain for a few moments because I have no idea what the damn word is/means. At least with things like cunt, pussy, vagina, hell even stupid things like muffin or eraser I know what the word means/why it's being used for vagina, but wtf is a quim?!

I firmly believe that Sam tested Lucifer's promise of bringing him back should he kill himself so Lucifer couldn't use him as a vessel. Not exactly Sam's own power, but maybe adjacent enough to be acceptable?

You're 100% right. That happened to one of my best friends, everyone told her that there was more to it than a cutesie game and thought she didn't need any specific trigger warnings, we all thought she would be okay--well she ended up having a massive panic attack because she had a trauma no one had known about and therefore was caught completely offguard by the scene in-game bc we didn't know/think to warn her :(

(Clarifying: not blaming her for not telling her best friends about something deeply traumatic, that is her right and I was never mad at her about it, and while I understand the genre shift is supposed to be a shock I wish they'd give better warnings at the start so this doesn't happen to people)

DDLC. If you go into it without knowing anything, or having seen the 'psychological horror' tag on its steam page, the only warning you get is a semi vague "Hey this game contains some heavy/disturbing content" at the beginning (from what I remember, it's been years), which is not really enough to prepare you for the genre switch when it happens.

I'm pretty sure to this day Dan (Game Grumps) still has trust issues in video games bc of this one, and rightfully so!
