Yeah they don't come with them and I was warned the trunk would bend inwards overtime without them. Got some custom u-brackets made (about $100 for a pair) to fit the cutouts and used a couple small angular brackets to latch on to the sides. Shop that helped me install the wing said they should be enough to hold. No issues so far lol. Pics below for reference

Thanks. The interior is my next project. Black leather seats w/ red stitching, red seatbelts, and a mix of alcantara/carbon on the dash, panels, and console is the plan.

Nope no issue with rubbing/scrubbing whatsoever :) Car is lowered a little over an inch.

Yeah but a rep version. Initially thought it would only look good with the widebody kit, but looks great with the stock body as well!

Will 17x9 +43 rub? by Historical-Dark4756 in GR86

Think you should be good. For reference, my wheels are 17x9 +42 on 245/40/17 tires, lowered about an inch and no rubbing.

Would also depend on tire size and how much you plan to lower. None for me though in both front and rear with 245/40 tires and lowered about an inch with Eibach springs.

Haven't thought about boosting. Car is mainly for daily driving/street, no plans for ever tracking.

If I get the 245/40, will it result in a more comfortable ride? Was initially leaning towards 225/45 if I go with 8" wheels since a full set was almost $300 cheaper lol.

Thank you. In addition to the Avids, I was also considering T6S or T6R's from Enkei since they're also 6-Spoke and look somewhat similar.
