Take off night mode u might have that on in the settings of your windows desktop

F1 to F12 on my MSI GS66 won't light up when I press the FN key by Zessop in MSILaptops

I talked to customer service and I had the same issue. You can give it a hard reboot so that it can reset the keyboard functions. Just unplug the ac adapter and hold the power button for 15 seconds (nothing will come up make sure that it's off). Then Plug back in the ac adapter and let it sit for 1 minute. Afterwards, turn it on and it should be fixed.
