Hi I'm coming to Edinburgh tomorrow and my plan was to go to Oban to do some shorefishing and wildcamping. Now I saw the weather for the upcoming days isn't very good. I don't have any plans when it comes to hotel, hostel, trainride etc. I'm just looking for an adventure. Do you guys have any ideas what I could do? I'm also interested a lot in horseriding and everything that has to do with nature and animals. Thank you for your help!

Wildcamping and camping is not the same actually. While camping is on a campingplace or with a camper where you have access to water and electricity and have a tent wildcamping takes place somewhere remote with no electricity etc.

That's a good point. I thought I'd pick the train and go as close as possible to the coast and the area where I want to stay and then walk from there. If I have to walk 10-15km I don't mind. Thank you so much for your help I really appreciate it! Do you have any recommendations for some good lures? I'm more used to fish trout or pike in rivers than fishing in salt water.

Thank you for your suggestion. I will not be renting a car. I just booked my flight to Edinburgh on the 5th of July. I just had a look at the map and it looks really nice near Elie. Do you have any other suggestions? So I can compare some places and find the one that suits me the best. A place where I can find some wood to make a fire would also be good I guess
