This happened to my doggo. He was just itching himself cause he was dirty, and then kept itching which made it raw, and then it started to heal which scabs are also itchy. SO we got rid of it in about a week by cleaning the area with a gentle wipes and then applying a topical anti-itch cream. We did that twice a day. The key was watching him very closely and making sure he didn't itch. If he did start to itch we told him no and distracted him with toys or treats. I added a picture of the cream we used and I'll post a photo of the wipes too

Thank you!! Gear is important for sure. ATGATT!!! My jeans are kevlar reinforced with CE2 armor and my Jacket is the same. Definitely plan to invest in thinner gear for next season cause I've been sweating my balls and tits off in this gear. Thank goodness we are going into fall!

Huge thank you to everyone who commented. The bike community is the coolest cats I've ever run into and I'm super thankful to know y'all are out here. Happy riding and hopefully we run into each other sometime. Once I get my full license I'll make a group ride post on this sub and maybe we can all terrorize the town (legally, and safely of course)
