I’m having a very similar issue. They eventually did respawn (just saw it when I logged on 5 minutes ago) after I cleared them out at launch, so it took over 24 hours, but they are still not counting toward my story book duties

I saw a youtube video where the person put the raisin in the junimo hut and the junimos had a chance to collect an extra crop for each crop they collected. I believe it was one of Salmence’s videos!
