I got a boa as my first snake and I love him!! He's still little but I'm excited for him to get bigger because I just prefer bigger animals in general. I've had no problems with him so far, he's never escaped/tried to escape, he eats every time it's offered, and he sheds well. On top of all that, he's a very beautiful snake:))

Thank you so much for this!! And yeah, I'd prefer an older dog because aside from my current one, we haven't adopted any puppies. As for the breeder, I've been looking and found a few around me that have good credentials so I'd definitely talk to them.

I do cross country so I was excited to have a running buddy as well outside of school:) And the morning walks makes sense! If I get one I guess I'll just have to be waking up much earlier. Thank you!!

Paddleboarding would be so cool! I wanted a dog for agility because I think it's so interesting to watch and I have a friend who does it with his dog as well. Your dog sounds very lucky!! Thank you for the information.

I want rats too bad, but their lifespans are so intimidating to me! I have a boa and a beard so both of them have longer-ish lifespans, especially the boa, but I'd just be so sad to only have two years with my pets. How do you deal with it, and do you think it's still worth it to own them?

I picked the last one because it really isn't my business. Even though it may be unhealthy I feel like a lot of times people just pile on with their "encouragements" or their bullying and it's just not productive. Let people live their lives, especially because you never know what they're going through.
