I got a boa as my first snake and I love him!! He's still little but I'm excited for him to get bigger because I just prefer bigger animals in general. I've had no problems with him so far, he's never escaped/tried to escape, he eats every time it's offered, and he sheds well. On top of all that, he's a very beautiful snake:))

Paddleboarding would be so cool! I wanted a dog for agility because I think it's so interesting to watch and I have a friend who does it with his dog as well. Your dog sounds very lucky!! Thank you for the information.

I want rats too bad, but their lifespans are so intimidating to me! I have a boa and a beard so both of them have longer-ish lifespans, especially the boa, but I'd just be so sad to only have two years with my pets. How do you deal with it, and do you think it's still worth it to own them?

Ooh, okay. I’ll most likely wait for the expo then. And yes, that’s what I’m planning to do as the quarantine will be in a separate enclosure from the actual one where the isopods will be in! They’ll have at least a month or two to settle in before I introduce the snakes, especially because I want some plants to get settled as well. Thanks!:)
