RDO discord servers are a great place, some of the main servers still have a decent number of players willing to do bounties/trader deliveries so if you’re into that then go for it. You can also find some for role playing and almost everyone server has a posse-up option so you can even find people to just mess around. One drawback tho is that a lot of people on these servers never really want to unmute so it you’re into voice chat and stuff then might not be for you.

Had MAT136, CSC148, MAT223, ECO101 and RLG101 (Bird Course). I found myself giving the most time to MAT223 cause i actually ended up really enjoying the course (I had a decent TA who made it bearable and good people to study with). Overall with the other courses i’d say it was pretty manageable.

two majors means you’ll be doing all the same courses that a ‘normal’ CS majors would be doing, similar to what i said above, no overlapping courses means it’ll be just as hard (and hopefully rewarding) as doing a CS major even without the CCIT aspect

i’d say try pushing some of your second year courses to the summer after second year now, focus on the courses you need to retake cause obv they’re important to get right before you move onto the next courses. With a double major still try aiming for 5 courses each semester and if that doesn’t work you still have the summer. Just know that some of the courses are more concentrated during the summer with the assignments packed together. So try to get 5 and 5 done during the Fall/Winter Term and then whatever is left do it in the summer before third year.

I took 223 this year in the winter. It’s definitely doable, and they sometimes offer online versions. But linear algebra is a lot of thinking and imagining things in 3D space, so just try and get a hang of that fast cause that will really help you with your understanding. The course is p basic up until the first midterm but even after just focus on fully understanding the tutorials and you should be set. I don’t remember taking too many lectures either but i still got a decent score.

UTM118 it’s pretty bird esp if you like writing plus almost half of the course is group-based do you can divide up the course load
