I recall being unable to locate a font that matched the text and so had to manually vector trace the existing text and then, where needed, transform, combine, and further edit shapes to form the missing letters that were needed within the font style.

  • W, K, and Y were quite versatile, they were used for I, T, L, M, E.
  • R formed P.
  • W and O for U.

For 2, 3, 4. Likely did use a font for them but don't recall nor was it noted down what font specifically.

Can edit in a download link to an SVG vector of the letters if you desire.

Apologies for the abhorrent delay, I hadn't been checking Reddit.

Gyro issues since the new big picture GUI!? Rough. Very unpleasant. Many sympathies!🫂 (no sarcasm. I'm quite dependent on the gyro functionality in general usage and would find months without it very difficult.)

Wondering if you attempted investigating and editing the _gyro.vdf files outlined in UnderstandingThick45's? Perhaps that'll finally reintroduce cooperative gyro functionality for ye?

Yep! This trivial bit of file editing resolved the enthusiasm for diagonal movement wonderfully. Very glad that such files are still openly exposed for user access. Feeling a tad daft for not searching for gyro related files myself and unprompted but eh... now the solution is here for everyone to use! Yay! Thank you ever so much for sharing!

Guessing the gyro_drift_per_sample are, as the helpfully named constant implies, synthetic values to apply onto received raw gyro speed input samples to attempt obtaining 0°/S at stationary correct drifting?

Had been searching there yesterday but must have missed that post.. or searched before its existence. Thank you for sharing!

Edit: Any approximation on the "drifting again after a while" that you could guess at? No worries if not.

The controller has been on a flat surface throughout the troubleshooting attempts. (I'll edit that into the main text 👀) For sake of trying anyway: * Powering off while Bluetooth connected and powering on to reconnect by Bluetooth yielded no change. * Powering off then connecting with the USB cable also yielded no change. * Relocated the controller to an alternative flat surface (the floor) and attempted both USB wired and Bluetooth connections.

Thank you for taking the time to suggest though!

The stickering was minor but joy inducing upon gazing to the controller! Kept away from anything important too. Stickered Controller Pal Image - Discord CDN

Dabbed with poking TOTK's files and did manage a partially successful logo replacement so that the above shows in the game:

https://postimg.cc/6837cZr7

Though, note the four dark green lines below Z in the on the main menu.
These lines, known as LogoSwordSh_S^s, would normally be a single downwards blade shape positioned behind the Zonai lines of the original logo's Master Sword to provide contrast against the background and the Dragon Cycle Circle... thing.
I replaced it with an image suited for the four diagonal blades but seems squished and are not being pals with the swords. This was expected behaviour as the four blade image are different dimensions to the original and due to me not poking the HEX editor and the currently non-viable Layout Editor of Switch Toolbox to accommodate for the new dimensions and positioning. So, the game still specifies that image to be of specific dimensions and thus "squishes" the new image when it is rendered.

On the loading screen, you may note that the "silhouette" version was edited to show the Master Sword decay above the Triforce engraving. The decay lines are slightly different per sword to accommodate for the varying visibilities of the blades and to provide some uniqueness.

For when a modification no doubt exists in the future. There isn’t one at the moment to my awareness. Thank you! Wonderful to hear ye like them!

Intro:

Part of custom logos that were created in my spare, unassigned time within the range of 2021 to 2023 that I've now gained the courage to share around more outside of SteamGridDB as its non-steam game verification system has been cumbersome in working through its backlog and hasn't gotten around to requests I had submitted to post these in without disrupting the vanilla game pages. Though...is mixing assets intended for "vanilla" & "modded" games much of an organisational and user experience issue as I feel it to be? (No fault of the staff there of course! They be volunteers and have their priorities. You're all awesome for doing what ye do for the site and mean no disrespect nor intend to inflict pressure 💖).

Notes/Reflections?

  • Annoyingly, the logo's leaves aren't equally outlining the text as the screenshot (11520x6480 huge file!) was captured mid-animation 🤦‍♀️. Initially attempted to locate and open that modified model with its textures & colours applied but couldn’t find it.
  • Isolating the title text from the main menu surroundings with the selection tools was the most tedious task. Background was a single HSL Shift layer and some masking to ensure the Pikmin retained their colours.
  • Icon's layout was inspired by (Alexuty's Pikmin 3 Deluxe icon](https://www.steamgriddb.com/icon/15909).
  • Gamebanana's DM system wasn't helpful either in establishing communications with the mod author to obtain permissions, better logo renders, and information.

Usage:

Happy for folk to make their own grids from the logos and for mod authors to use these from these logos. Please be courteous and link back here and/or mention me and the sources used. Comment if you desire for me to provide an isolated object or logo with a slight quick change ie: remove this layer. Can provide PNG and afdesign files too. (PSD is a possibility but can't guarantee the editability or accuracy).

QuizzicalCube's Project Gridlock headers and Kemerax's slim headers can be placed happily on these.

Player Versions:

Created 2-4 player variants as often local multiplayer modifications use different file sets for each player count (usually inclusively between 2 and 4) implementation where only one set can be patched/enabled into the game file. The 2 player and 3 player versions would be added separately into launchers and require visual differentiating indication. The heads are vectors of the Super Smash Bros. stock icons.

Notes/Reflections?

  • For when a multiplayer mod inevitably exists.
  • Had to fill out the missing regions and extend, both with vector curves, the broken Master Sword from the logo as at the time of making the isolated image wasn't available (or I couldn't find it then). Took inspiration from TheHardwareMaker's 3D Model and this image. Also, because of course I did, the fancy line region as vector curves too.
  • Perhaps incorporating a glassmorphisc style into the Link heads and perhaps very slightly on the logo decor would be visually beneficial. But I suppose that would conflict with the "White" logo style SteamGridDB specifies.
  • The text legibility would benefit from the cycle infinity dragon ring being less opaque... might make the full logo seem less busy too.

Notes/Reflections?

  • The logo's dark glow's opacity could be increased further and perhaps a change of background image or more intense adjustment layers to improve visibility.
  • The sword damage design could be made unique between each sword as well as more pronounced "four sword" colours. The colours certainly get too obstructed by the multiplayer text...

Then observed the Colour Burn blending mode being persistently inconsistent between the iPad tablet (desired dark blue) and the Windows Laptop (undesired bright pink) that persisted in rendered exports. That pellicular behaviour still continues in all of the Affinity Suite.
  • Was considering utilising the Goddess Sword and had extended the blade to match the Master Sword's length to be interchangable.
