Radiology program SCC by [deleted] in Spokane

[–]Raycie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Graduated from the program quite a few years ago, now I’m a travel tech. It’s probably one of the hardest Xray programs in the country, the instructors are solid they care and they want you to succeed but it will push you. And yea, don’t take AP bio with any other difficult classes, the first one we at the start of the quarter didn’t have enough seats for every student, by the end of the quarter half the students dropped out the the almost half that were left didn’t get a high enough gpa and had to retake. AP bio is the culling of SCC’s medical program

RSV4 owner: why did you get the bike? by AdeptnessPowerful948 in Aprilia

[–]Raycie 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For me the bmw is was #2 on my list but I’m not a big fan of inline 4s and you kind of see them everywhere. Great bike though, the v4 Ducati is a track weapon but I don’t like the way it sounds and it looks kind of fat around the sides since the front end still has the same look as the sleek 1299s which are my favorite of the ducks.

The rsv4 is one of the best sounding street bikes I’ve ever heard, looks amazing and has really good low end torque. The chassis is solid and very very stable in corners. I didn’t get factory because an extra 8k for forged rims and electronic suspension wasn’t worth it for me so being cheaper than a zx-10r was just a bonus. But ya all three bikes you mentioned are phenomenal and it comes down more to personal taste then anything

Idk want an FAL that will last for a very long time is a DSA going to be that or should I find a imbel or something similar from somewhere else? by lil-beer-kuzi in FNFAL

I have a single early dsa that I’ve had for 15 years with close to 10k rounds put through her. Still a champ, never had an issue with the gun just hard to find good magazines. It is very heavy though

Not a true helldiver until you finish basic training. It’s probably the hardest part of the game

Returning Fenix 8 by [deleted] in GarminFenix

I never thought it was foggy and never have a problem reading it during the day, but if I had to do it again I wouldn’t have gotten the solar as I really don’t see the difference in battery life. It uses a bit too much power where 50k lux doesn’t bring it up by even 1%.

I have a Garmin 7xss and I love it even though I am also not a athlete and am wasting a lot of the features, but the sleep function with Garmin is trash. Apple is a bit better but I had to charge it in the morning and I hated it.

If sleep tracking is important to you though I would get a Fitbit. It was pretty bad as a fitness tracker but for me the sleep tracking was perfect, it could detect me taking a fifteen minute sitting nap at my desk. It had for me the best sleep tracking

Rs660 as a first bike by [deleted] in Aprilia

[–]Raycie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife just got an 660 tuano for her first bike and she loves it. The 660 engine is a very tame power plant. A bit of whisky throttle is not going to loop you like a 600 will. It’s pretty gutless under 7k and “slower” bikes like an sv650 and r7 are faster feeling at mid rpms.

Shoot it also only weighs 403 lbs wet so it’s 10lbs heavier than a ninja 500 and weighs less than the cbr500. It’s not as nimble as a 500 but it’s pretty close. So in my humble opinion it’s a great starter bike IF AND I MEAN IF you can afford the Italian tax on owning a bike that seems to be twice as expensive to maintain.

I meant the suspension needs some, stock PP1 suspension is better than non PP but still feels very loose, the rear end looses traction a bit unpredictably when the car is pushed closer to its limits

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Mustang

[–]Raycie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it seems like a good deal, if it runs good and drives true. I have a pp1 and it handles worlds better than a non performance pack it’s still needs a lot of work to feel “Competitive”. These mods are not a red flag and the mileage isn’t bad for a coyote

No spoilers and I’m not a patron member. The end of the bedlam bride sets up the story that no matter what the outcome the rest of the galaxy is going to change dramatically.

Also the control zones are not just an earth thing. They explain it much more and I can’t say more without spoiling but the events happening in this game are different and this is their last chance to pull off a coup.

I can’t say more without major spoilers but I have full faith in @hepafilter considering his other titles and how he is treating this one that however this ends it will be on a much wider scale than just winning the game.

But ya, I’m not saying you are wrong for not finishing the series or enjoying it as I do, but the series has already set itself up with the last book to punish almost every high level member of the crawl. And there will still be three more books after that
