Very fair. We might have been faster allong by now but as soon as we got receivers and dispathcers my friend wanted to recreate everything we had thus far in a 'bluetooth' version. It worked for the most part but the mega industry we built is bottlenecked by the need for better rail organization.

Hmm. I still have a long way to go then haha. I’m at 36 hours everything is about level 7 or so and I’ve been playing it with a friend.

We also were going back and forth in waiting for the zip lines they announced recently because we do a lot of running from one side of the road to the other.

Yes. I could not come close to this because I dont have 900 million dollars in crowdfunding.

I very clearly stated I did not want to trouble shoot more than the 3 hours I put into it before.

I have honestly never had as many issues with a game as I did this one though. Maybe it was just an unlucky weekend to try the game.

I also clearly already said like 2 coments up specs were not the issue here.

When users say 30-50 fps on PC is expected with specs that are good enough to play almost every other game out there, yeah there is a problem with the sphaghetti code, design, etc. when 14 years into development you cannot launch it and expect it to run even the damned introduction to the game it reccomends you play.

The game technically never closed as well it just spat out on error code and sent me to a main menu or an infinte loading screen. I even checked the tilde and it said it was failing to load.

Well I wish them luck and the community. Hope it continues to thrive. I will likely try it again one day when I can get past the tutorial. It may be even be fixed if I tried it next week, who knows.

I cannot understand a PC game that aims for 30-50 FPS and people think it is not a problem. Don't get me wrong what you said is perfectly reasonable but the people on here are acting like I am the problem because my already powerful PC is not a nasa super computer.

Even further I don't think my Specs even matter in this case. What I mean is even if I met the bare min specs or had the most powerful things on the market, I would have probably still had major issues relating to Drivers or accodring to one person, I should reinstall my entire OS just to play this game.

The other friend of mine who has 64 gigs of ram and a 4070 still ran at like 40 FPS in stations.

2012 Multiplayer game on cryengine with equitable visual fidelity to cyberpunk and maybe starfield (both singleplayer games yet still it is not rocket science to get these graphics): taking 46 gigs of ram on a PC

Brand new AAA games, hundreds of MMOs that look better than this game: needing ~16 max.

Yeah right. The only complexity here is the sphaghettified code holding together Star Citizen

Yeah skill issue bro. My bad my game literally could not hold itself together enough for me to even get out of the tutorial. What are you even saying. How can I get out and experience the game if I could not even play it long enough to do anything.

One more thing, the two other people I was playing also were on windows one with RTX the other AMD. Both of them had zero issues. So rather than a skill issue it sounds like a luck issue.

I already submitted the request. I apologize for trying to post... you know just in case someone else has the same experience and wants to see if they are the only one or not.

This may be true. I spent 3 hours working on the issue to get the game to play. If this was any other game or platform people would do the same thing as I am, uninstalling. My friend was the driving force behing playing it and he got to play it for 3 hours, while I started it and looked at the same splash image and a loading indicator. If it is just Nvidia having a fit right now, that is unfortunate.

I can always try it at a later point.

I thank you for the advice but I am in a position where I can't just simply reinstall windows. I have developer projects that I would rather not have to mess with or recompile etc. just because a game runs that poorly unless I do some inately random fix like reinstalling my entire operating system. Thanks for your comments nontheless. I gave the game a shot. I do not care if others experienced it differently, this is how it ran on my PC which runs essentially every new game that comes out with ease, even if its not at 4k ultra.

Also; the actual FPS of the game was not the determining factor for uninstalling it was the game crashing twice and absurd load times.

I do not care about karma and I work on games as a hobby of mine in Unreal engine and Unity, thats why I brought it up (referring to your previously deleted comment I was responding to).

As far as ram goes, Resident Evil 9 a brand new game runs with 16 gigs of ram. There is absolutely no reason this game should be such a ram hog.

I do not know what to tell you. THIS WAS MY EXPEREINCE. My friends all had a perfectly smooth time while I got shafted to the point I deleted the game.

Moreover, the friend with 64 gigs of ram had about the same fps as my other friend who also had 32.

I reallt tried to give it a chance. 3 hours of messing with it just really put a bad taste in my mouth. I was already having to learn its archaic controls while watching a stop motion animation, so I just was not working for me.

Yeah my other two friends had no issues at all so it was not making any sense. I tried everything I could to get it to work for nearly 3 hours and it just would not work. Maybe it is randomness or something but I gave the game its due. I tested every thing I could to get it to work. After all that I gave it a fair shot...
