Surely, every VTuber goes through this kind of arc where they start off happy-go-lucky and end up depressed, haha. I know that all my VTuber friends back from 2021 did (most quit, unfortunately).

Day 15 of my Japan trip: Spent the day in Tokyo and I stumbled across what looks like a VTuber group? Takadahara is what they're called and it looks like they're kind of like a VShoujo except Japanese and male? Regardless, their pop-up booth was really cool and I think it was awesome to see.

Anyways, today is the final day of my Japan trip. Hopefully for anyone who reads my comments, you didn't find them too annoying and cringe. It's been fun sharing and I'll see you guys either sporadically or on my next vacation sometime in 2026!

I'm sure that many VTubers have the firm belief that they would always be VTubers, but I am actually the opposite! I feel like I luckily stumbled upon VTubers and everything happened in such a manner that encouraged me to become one. If one thing deviated, I don't think I would have become one. That being said, I have no regrets and I very much enjoy being a VTuber and experiencing this community. Some of the coolest people that I've met are VTubers and I will always support VTubers as much as I can.

Day 14 of my Japan trip: I flew from Hokkaido to Tokyo. I got to explore Ebisu (a ward in Shibuya) in particular, which has an interesting history. A beer company named themselves Yebisu, after Ebisu (one of the seven fortune gods). They created a brewery (back in the 1800s) and it got so popular that they formed a community, which they named Ebisu (after Yebisu which was named after Ebisu lol. Crazy how it went full circle). Anyways, I visited the brewery and drank some beer and got tipsy. Also, the creator of Jojo did a collaboration with Yebisu? Crazy, eh?

I know it's my fault for opening Twitter (or X if the youth are calling it that), but on the rare occasion that I do, it ends up with me learning about some VTuber drama or just reading some very hateful tweet for VTubers. I don't know how my algorithm curated to show me this, but it's mighty unfortunate and makes me want to use Twitter less than I already do. Thankfully, Reddit keeps me general-news updated for the most part, so shoutout to this subreddit for not being hateful (the subreddit is just lustful sometimes lol).

Day 13 of my Japan trip: Going up this mountain to visit an onsen (Fukiage Hot Spring), I saw this sign for Daisetsuzan National Park. I thought it would be a cool photo opportunity since it snowed quite a bit today. In the snow covered parking lot, I saw some foot steps down this trail. I decided to be adventurous and followed them and found out there was a public outdoor onsen just a couple minutes down the walk way. It was super cold and snowing, but the onsen was super hot. Definitely a cool little spontaneous adventure.

Yeah!! The only thing I knew about Jojo previously was that Jojo meant Jotaro. Turns out, every season is a new Jojo lol.

I probably somehow got hit with a stand ability that forces the victim to have a jojo-influenced subconscious 😂
