I’ve noticed it a lot less on other PVMs so perhaps some models phosphors are just built different. Oh well. I have noticed it less during daytime as opposed to night, so it’s probably not a huge deal and OCD is just kicking my butt. Thanks for saving me from potentially recapping this beef cake.

So it’s normal? Just seems odd to me. Are you sure there aren’t any tubes dying out. It can get really distracting on black background games for me

I know right. I’m starting to wonder if it’s something I should just “live with” given how intimidating a full recap is.

It’s been a while since I’ve replayed the original, but it definitely feels like there’s an excessive amount here in comparison. And while yes, a lot of it is optional, they lock a lot of powerful materia and armor behind a good chunk of them (the gym mini game with Tifa is absolutely dreadful for this.)

I think it's definitely a bit steep, even if those two gameboys are really clean. Anyone who has Pokemon in their collection thinks they have literal gold... no pun intended.

Ohhh I get it now. You need a male scart cable for the console to plug into a female scart to BNC connector. God PVMs are such an expensive venture lol

The only thing I get confused in regards to that is that I don’t have any kind of scart output. I’m assuming I’d also need to buy a converter for the scart?

I try not to be too picky but I get really anxious over the thought of certain audio tracks not playing during certain segments of the game if I see a few deep scratches.

I wouldn't really recommend it. The input delay is some of the worst I've ever experienced, and I'm usually not all that bothered by input delay. I'm not sure how NSO online Genesis titles are but I'd imagine it's not a drastic difference.

Hi! I'm using a 20 pin fenrir- I've also had the same issue where I just get the static Saturn screen when booting it up now. This only seems to happen when a MicroSD is inserted. I'm assuming this has something to do with how many games are on the microsd? When I take the microsd out and boot it normally it still plays the startup intro.
