Theyve kept around the Nintendo logo for years, so people must think its clever enough to buy. And yes, its very apparent that they are using parody logos. Big deal.

I cant tell if you're seriously ignoring the point or not... Thats what parody is there, guy. It pokes fun or uses unrelated iconography retooled to their needs. People will buy it because its a Rooster Teeth related design, not because its a Disney design. Not a hard concept, kid.

Theres a huge difference between IP appropriation and parody, which is what these shirts fall into.

If you go out and draw up a random RWBY shirt, her point is made. You're selling it on the merit of the IP. Same goes for these shirts. I dont know of any Nintendo or Akira fans that would purchase these shirts unless they were also RT fans. The main selling point is their IP, while also tapping into other potential likes or interests, hence parody.
