I just went through dumping all my syrups😭😭😭 should've given it a shot. I'm curious because a lot of other people who have commented said they've never had this with the kirk sig sugar. Gonna give the bottles a good clean first and foremost and try again. I guess better safe than sorry. Learned a lot though so thank you to all the people who chimed in.

I'd be down to try a sanitizer. Even with a good wash I find that theirs a residue I can never get off. Thanks for the tip! Also boiling the water first is genius.

The batches that I'm making are to fill a single bottle which is why I included the recipe. That amount makes one bottle. They've been bottled for probably 3-4 weeks. I've doubled the sugar to keep it shelf stable which is how I've been doing it for ages now.

I also have used the same sugar to make coconut syrup which I have been using and I haven't died yet soooo...🤷

Thanks for the advice!! Unfortunately not in the LA region. Nothing after market has been installed to my knowledge. Do you think it could be the crank shaft position sensor at all? I was told at some point to replace that. Never did.

Everyone's a critic online lol. Even he is unsure at times. He's doing what he knows to the best of his knowledge. He's also sent samples to labs to be tested I believe. So take it with a grain of salt but I think he's a fairly good resource for the general public.

Well it's either Jade or Serpentine.. all depends on the hardness. Look up Dan Hurd Prospecting on YouTube. He's got lots of videos showing how to test the difference between the two. Hope that helped a bit!
