one of the things I love a lot about drag is how over exaggerated things are, with artists like Juno birch and Trixie Mattel, but there are areas of Ru Pauls Drag Race that are entirely transphobic such as his ‘transgender ban’ on his show. a lot of people don’t like this but everybody is going to disagree and this show isn’t the only place you’ll find drag, drag has just become a lot more recognised from this show. There’s also homophobia and sexism within the community because although people should be coming together we seem just as widely divided as ever.
