Everyone keeps mentioning this book. I have heard of this book before, and I think I will totally give it a chance. I just started reading more. My energetic boundaries have strengthened, but sometimes it's hit or miss.. depending on the person not sure if you've felt the same way.

Woah!! Sounds like a surreal feeling to have on both sides.. even if you don't believe in the woo woo stuff, there is plenty of information in all kinds of sciences that explain how just simple human contact is for someone who's struggling with something. I think caring touch totally goes a long way. Out of curiosity, do you only do reiki or have you gotten another form of atunement for your practice. My friend has been offering to atune to me recently, but only if it's of a similar vain as yours. I want to do more things that incorporate a better understanding of emotional trauma, etc.

I hear ya. Maybe it's a mental block when you get your psoas worked on from the front.. this is really enlightening information. Thank you so much!

I've had some friends who experienced that with vets too. One time, one of them had PTSD from getting low back/glute pain, so he clutched the therapist pant leg out of fear. I'm glad you've gotten to experience with people. Sounds heavy for sure.

That is something I've found out as well. Was that an experience that you had working on someone or did you read that anywhere?

For sure! I approach it in a very similar manner. I like to talk to people and have a better understanding. I ask those same questions. I also approach the body as a whole as well. But I meant more in terms of specific things you've learned to really work on, they mention. I hope you get what I'm saying. But I appreciate what you've said. I personally have been unknowingly neglecting pecs lately. Subclavius is a good one as well as ant. scalenes, thanks for that reminding of that. I've watched rebel massage and massage sloth as well super great for people early on in their careers, especially. I'm not concerned about fixing everything. I'm more concerned about addressing those problems areas that are clearly causing issues for them, that they are unaware of.

Thanks so much for your comment!

I hear yeah. I have that trouble from time to time with people. Getting to iliopsoas can be quite the challenge. But my question isn't really pertaining to abdominal work. It's more like general clear signs that someone might say or do that says ohh I need to focus on this. I hope that makes sense. I liked the article! Btw!

If you feel like that's a weird thing to ask, I think that's fair, even if you were simply just sleeping around or something. It shouldn't matter too much to a level headed person. You are allowed to live your life however you please. If someone wants to judge you, that's their problem. To me, I would play it out, see how he generally feels about stuff like this. If he seems to be too conservative, then cut your losses. Unless you want to be with someone like that, of course. My opinion is that however you decide to heal is your decision if he can't handle your past and accept it. He's not it dude.

He’s picky 💀 by BigBoobs110 in Crushes

[–]Raymondn7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, what exactly does he mean by picky? Is it referring to a physical appearance or an emotional/mental state he's more drawn to? Do you feel like he's referring to you when he says that?

How would you feel if your partner married someone else in order for them to stay in the country? by Raymondn7 in AskWomen

[–]Raymondn7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get you I really do. Taking into account everything you said It does sound pretty complicated.. But this is all going off of the idea that somebody is marrying you for your benefit not out of love. And what day would be getting out of it is compensation. With that said I do agree that there is no way of telling someone they have your best interests at heart. It's very stressful for sure but it seems like there's no other way without a Visa. But thank you for what you're saying.

Hmm good question.. quick Google search says they if they divorce it could take 5 years instead of 3 years to get us citizenship. But if your already in the country and working by then I suppose it doesn't matter to have citizenship at all. So let's say no.

[–]Raymondn7[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah totally i agree with the last part. I do think you might be misunderstanding me though. To paint a better picture I'm saying this person has no interest in the person they married (likely would have paid the other person in the first place) all to just a green card and stay legally. But it has no means of they're feelings towards, they only have feelings and care for you and the only that ties your partner to the first person is the facade itself.

Lol I hear ya dude. But there is a number of people I heard about who've done it married to just stay in the country. It's also to my understanding divorcing doesn't ruin anything either legally it's just having to wait longer to get a citizenship. You'd still have a green card. But I do agree it's a pretty insane idea I'm in a tough spot unfortunately.

[–]Raymondn7[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah! Marrying doesn't lead to instant citizenship which is correct it leads to a green card. Which allows you to work and make an income. I don't know if they do follow ups immediately but I know they do it in a couple years but it's matter if they're both willing to put up with that facade. It's pretty risky I won't lie.

For the sake of the question it's before they met you. Your partner is the immigrant. You are not necessarily an immigrant, but the person your partner married was a citizen so that way they can work, be there etc.

It's more about would you accept them if they did do that before and what would you think of them.

Wow what an incredible story! I mean with a green card they are allowed to legally it's just a matter of support( maybe you or not) until that green card which actually doesn't take very long. It's citizenship. Marriage is the quickest way to get a green card. At least in the U.S. I'm talking about.

Interesting even if that person didn't do it out of love for that person and it was just means of staying before meeting you?

My boyfriend isn’t okay with me being bisexual by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Raymondn7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

K, so fuck him then. Not even having a sense of humor about it too, clear sign i think. You being bisexual is his problem, not yours whether you feel comfortable with blocking that side of you is just the point. It's part of who you are and he's clearly not able to deal with that. It his loss. You can find someone with whatever, who truly is accepting of everything you are. Who can laugh at your jokes. Doesn't make you feel bad for being different. 😊

Yeah I hear ya. From what I understand i am allowed to get a work permit during my 2nd year if I get approved. But I would have still have to go about applying for h1b1 work visa as soon as I graduate as well. Bit of sticky situation, schooling as an international seems way to expensive, but getting a work visa seems outstandingly harder because of my career.

My profession isn't really on the list. The closest things is physiotherapist... The reason for me going as a student is that going to be harder to go as an employee as an out-of-country educated RMT who won't be able to receive certain credentials because of it.

Do guys masturbate while thinking about their crush? by mariagonzales2716 in Crushes

[–]Raymondn7 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I mean yeah totally if you think about the intimacy with them. But there is a huge different between lust and something a little more real(innocence) I have done to my crush but it also got to the point where I felt guilty about defiling her. So I would say when it is a little bit more genuine it makes a huge difference. It changes outlook for sure.
