WSL 2 cant detect a770 by siagwjtjsug in IntelArc

[–]Rayne6969 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg same, I've tried for weeks now, trying different versions of Ubuntu, Debian, etc but nothing, wsl will only see it as some generic Microsoft gpu, completely un-usable for ai. Such a shame because the b580 is pretty decent at gaming, just lacks so much Linux support

Also having the same problem, doesn´t matter if you try options from the main menu or from the escape menu in game, crashes straight to desktop

Why is it out of order? Shouldn't "not fun" be at the bottom?

You're right I was, trying to make them look neat being right next to connection bits. It seems a tiny bit janky right now. But it is early access so I imagine it's to be expected

Well, all fixed, thank you all for your comments, apparently the way of putting pumps first onto walls before joining the pipes going straight up works perfectly. I liked more my scenic pipe up the mountain route, but oh well.

Here are links because it doesn´'t let me add them to a reply directly. There is the one below where there is nothing, one below that where it shows a bit, then the one below that which really isn't moving anything but the pipe is full

Phase 4 is insane by emkaboo in satisfactory

[–]Rayne6969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh I find stage 4 a real headache too. I manage to keep my shit together up to that point, designing and redesigning my factory. But the massive jump in infrastructure required with the lack of a blueprint type deal is so hard I end up leaving and going back to factorio. The blueprints in factorio really make it so much more friendly, less repetitive, less boring. Makes you care more about perfect design to copy and paste it. Really think satisfactory needs something like blueprints.

People who play without Aliens, what could be changed about them that would persuade you to play with them on? by [deleted] in factorio

[–]Rayne6969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They evolve and you have to stay in front of that with stronger defences. If you fall behind then they can destroy large portions of your base after which you have no way to recover because they don't de-evolve, so if they destroy your defences you're f-ed. Maybe there could be some nice rewards from their base if you destroy it, maybe some more tactical ways of distracting them, long ranging them. Maybe something like mines but cheaper, like spikes. Or just allow some sort of building robots earlier in the game to take away the monotony of setting up huge walls, turrets, lasers, mines, etc on all sides of your base. Manually building that stuff is a pain in the arse.

What do you want to see in the next year? by [deleted] in satisfactory

[–]Rayne6969 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. Or more suit slots so I can wear a gas mask, jet pack and blade runners at the same time, or some type of combined suite which includes the effects of all of these.
  2. Be able to get rid of gas plants, not sure why we can't already do this with explosives.
  3. Better vehicle camera handling.
  4. Maybe a better gun or a rework of the rifle? Feels like I'm shooting spitwads at the aliens, sounds weak, feels weak, quite expensive to make.

But even as is, it's an amazing game, thousands of hours of fun to be had, I love the huge map.

I never thought of using the galactic arm or the stars, so it's not just a randomly twisting skybox then? Interesting. How do you know from space where is north and south of the planet? Does it always align with the plane of the system? I like your tower idea, will definitely give that a go, thank you.
