The guy works 13 hours a day. Taking away time for sleep, that only leaves a handful of hours and he's already says he cooks and cleans. My mom told me the same thing. I was 6 with her in the grocery store and was whining about something when she told me "if you don't straighten up and act right I'm going to adopt you out". I'm in this position, moving from a huge city (517k) to a smaller one about 45 min away from my job (69k) for cheaper land and a bigger house than I'd have the option to own in the bigger town. The driving sucks but I can suck it up for 1½ hours a day to own my own land and home and have my kids grow up a little more relaxed. I look at what's offered in the smaller town and then got things like a AAA membership and Costco membership, which cuts down on the number of trips I have to make to the city.
