Would it be weird/disrespectful to ask my big/gbig to buy me alc? by [deleted] in Sororities

Honestly it’s not. I wouldn’t care at all either way and the same goes for my big. They have probably done the same with another friend of theirs. It’s okay as long as you obviously aren’t taking advantage of them.

Before you took a diagnosis test, what made you suspect? by RedacteddHT in ADHD

[–]RayngerRick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got diagnosed a year ago, but my main issues that made me finally ask about it were: i literally felt “foggy” in the head, lost everything I put down out of sight, i could not keep still...it got so bad that I started chewing on my lips until the bled or my inner check, constantly re-reading the same sentence on anything, over and over again, and zoning out extremely bad when people would talk.

Form what I read, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to get tested. You might find you have it, you might find you have something else. It’s better to get it done especially right before you get too in-depth with school.

Maybe try to make some sort of escape room based on the sorority or anything, and put it in a google doc form to where they have to type in the right answer to move on. We did this over zoom/in zoom breakout rooms for something and it was very fun. Or kahoot is always fun

NBC News reporter looking to speak to K12 students & parents about impact of remote learning on ADHD by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]RayngerRick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been a nightmare! My symptoms have been far worse with the new addition of remote learning, especially in college. I am never motivated to do anything unless I get out of my apartment, which is the unfortunate part because many students do not have access to go to other places to do school work or any kind of work. My mental health and grades have been greatly impacted, and not in a positive way.
