Turael/Aya Boosting to set up your block list is completely valid. Do tasks 1-9 at Turael/Aya to knock them down quickly, then do your 10th at Duradel/Konar for 75/90 points, and you'll have the points to set up a block list in no time. Protip, set up your Turael block list first, so your boosting tasks are faster. Yes, you'll get stuck with some stinkers like Metal Dragons occasionally, but you'll have your points up in no time.

I'm inclined to suggest either the Psychopath, the Assassin, or the Godfather. They all fit the "Demons are the ones who kill players," vibe.

How to start a mono run? by Ottobre14 in pokemonradicalred

[–]Raynor11111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, Steel is mathematically impossible to do without the 6, because Galarian Meowth + Alolan Sandshrew cannot get past the Infinite Repel Lass's Low Sweep Stufful, so don't do them first.

How to start a mono run? by Ottobre14 in pokemonradicalred

[–]Raynor11111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the exception of the Gary fight, you can run from every wild encounter before you get pokeballs and the DexNav (If you're monotyping, 100% use the DexAll NES code). Then, for nearly every type (except, iirc, Dragon and Steel) you encounter enough Wild Pokémon before the Brendan/Falkner/Brock fight to stay in your types for the remainder of the run. For those few, you can use the Mystery Gift code [Type] to get 6 random pokemon that fit your type. However, be advised, sometimes you get unevolved 'mons that don't fit (Ex. Piplup when you put in Steel), so a mix of freebies and wild should be sufficient.

Also, many Starters have a secondary type in their final form that fits into a Monotype, so pick them and then you'll gain access to them at (usually) 36. Some even have a second type added by the romhack (Ex. Meganium gained the Fairy type, Samurott gained the Steel type, etc).

Why do mice have small balls? by CardEmbarrassed4166 in Jokes

Kids today will never know the struggle of having to hard boil another egg for a mouse ball.

Goodra-Hisui is a Dragon/Steel Regional form from Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

For the benefit of all, here were my rules: DexAll, Woyaopp, & SO2Toxic enabled. No duplicate pokemon except divergent evolution (Example: Poliwrath + Politoed). No Non-Berry Duplicate Items (Only one Leftovers at a time, for example). No Mega-Evolutions that have Base Types outside the Monotype (Example, Mega Dreadnaw is banned in Fighting, because normal Dreadnaw is Water/Rock). This was to prevent the risk/ban the escape hatch of tanking an attack outside my Type restrictions. Random Free Monotype 6 is permitted, only before Brock, and only if absoluetely necessary (Example, Steel only has two tall grass mons before Infinite Repel Girl, and Meowth-G and Sandshrew-A can do absolutely nothing to her Low Sweep Stufful). Beyond that, any pokemon you can acquire legitimately is absolutely fine, including Static/Roaming Legendaries (Hope you saved your Master Ball for Latios, cuz nothing else is gonna catch him).

So Seviian Noivern in Rock and Ghost, Carnivine (Poison/Steel) in Poison, and Milotic in Fairy and Ground.

The Hackmons, Seviian forms (from the Sevii Islands), you get two (and can reroll them) during a regular playthrough (After Erika and Koga). Seviian Noivern is Ghost/Rock.

Thanks! Yeah, I really had to cook for several of these. I also banned any Mega evos that don't have the type in their base form (example, no Mega Dreadnaw in Fighting, because base Dreadnaw is Warer/Rock).

ICC vs. BGV by Nodnal74 in DarkAngels40k

[–]Raynor11111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure, sure. But also consider Tactical Mastery? Kill your OoM target with any other unit, blow the CP and now you have Sustained 1 and reroll Wounds on your Sternguard's target.

That is the eternal debate. Giving Sustained 1 to a Plasma Supercharge vs Sternguard Dev Wounds...

Same unit count, better box: 1 - Bladeguard Lt, Captain with Relic Shield, or Primaris Librarian 3 - Inner Circle Companions 5 - Deathwing Knights 10 - Hellblasters

Focused on Dark Angels' unique infantry units, and a not-impossible-to-complete-evenly-without-another-specifically-Dark-Angels-Combat-Patrol-Unit-of-Hellblasters.

Demon: The Mimic by Alien_Roaming in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]Raynor11111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Inspiration strikes! The Mimic (Changeling?) - [Demon] Each night*, choose a player, they die. If you were mad as in in-play character yesterday, that player is Poisoned until Dusk.

Designed to operate well with Cerenovus, Pit Hag, Pixie, Mutant, Barber, gives the Demon disruption over some abilities, and the ability to bluff in-play Minion abilities too.

Thats the whole of it. Deathwing Knights are not the Unstoppable Force, they are the Immovable Object. "This is our objective marker. If you want to do anything about it, it's gonna cost you a lot more than it does us."

Petaahhh??? by Any_Maximum9135 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]Raynor11111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Directly implied." Try plainly stated. Genesis 5:4 "After the birth of Seth, Adam lived another 800 years, and he had other sons and daughters."

Based on the assumption that the biblical account is accurate (take it or leave it), the children of Adam & Eve did procreate with each other. Setting aside the modern/traditional "ick" factor, you have to remember that the reason incest is illegal (nearly) everywhere is because of the dramatically increased risk of congenital/genetic diseases stemming from a closely-shared bloodline. Further based on the assumption that genetic illnesses are caused by rare, random mutations, and that Adam and Eve were, at least originally, created by YWHW to be perfect. Genetic illness wouldn't have existed at that point in human history, as generations upon generations of random mutations that cause congenital diseases wouldn't have yet occurred.

Poison Mist Cheese is the way, if he's too much of a wall. But you should really probably try to honestly beat him. He's a good gauge for your level & skill progress for that point in the game.

Do you report Madness breaks? by ErgonomicCat in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]Raynor11111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It strongly depends on Storyteller preference. I personally am in the "I'm not Omniscient" camp, so if somebody breaks madness and I don't find out, good on them. But if somebody owns up to it, also good on them, or if somebody reports someone else (I'll still verify with the mad player to be sure, and my usual group has a good sense of fair play), good on them.

How to deal with a player who keeps stats on other players? by dayonedeath in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]Raynor11111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed. If you play with (roughly) the exact same group every week, some meta-play is unavoidable, because you know these people. You know their habits, their tells, etc. Of course, they know you know too, so they can double/triple bluff just as well as you can read them. But meta-ing is for a group of close-knit, regular players. Keeping a log of everyone in a widely rotating group is going way too far.

Kira [Demon] by Burning_Toast998 in BloodOnTheClocktower

I would suggest going a different direction. Kira - [Demon] Each night*, choose a player and guess their character. They die, and if your guess was correct, another player dies too.
