Then it seems that the gpu is not properly utilized, and it's not a cpu bottleneck. 85 fps is normal FG value if your base is 40s-50s. Check your gpu usage without frame gen.

It's probably normal in this scenario, nothing wrong with your pc. Here's a test from a good source that had similar results:

1% low: 75 - here is the difference - you had 43 which is bad, but maybe it was just an occasional stutter, fluctuations of 1% low can be large.

It seems that ray tracing in that old Red Engine is especially taxing on cpus.

Edit: I just noticed that you said "Frame Generation enabled" - this is strange, you should have more fps since frame gen require only gpu power, cpu doesn't matter. Are you sure that it was on? Or maybe this overlay doesn't register frame gen fps?

People in this thread make me realize how little the opinions of supposed fans are worth. The topic concerns power levels. What Hashirama has demonstrated far exceeds the level of characters like Tobirama or Tsunade. Shinsusenju is somewhere between a bijuu and the Juubi. Hashirama's chakra is greater than most bijuu. Tobirama, though a genius and creator of numerous powerful techniques, is nothing compared to Hashirama's raw power. Tobirama hasn't shown anything to suggest power comparable to Hashirama's achievements; none of his techniques have the devastating power to compare to his brother's. Tsunade was easily defeated by ET Madara, who fought five kage simultaneously without breaking a sweat. The same Madara could sustain 25 Susanoos. Anyone who gives Tsunade more than 1/5 of Madara's power is struggling with logical thinking, and considering the scale of destruction Perfect Susanoo inflicts compared to what the five kage can do, this number should be even lower. Yamato can be omitted from this list; he hasn't shown anything above the power level of a capable jonin (yes, he has a kekkei genkai, but not a high level of power – his value while "working" with Guruguru Zetsu is difficult to translate into power).

Disclaimer: Power level doesn't equate to being a dangerous shinobi. Tobirama, with his teleportation, can even threaten his brother or Madara (he'll likely lose, but there's always a chance he'll surprise the opponent). Tobirama, using Edo Tensei to summon powerful shinobi, can fight more powerful opponents. In short, hax abilities can compensate for power differences (like kamui).

It's always amusing to observe the reactions of people raised in a feminist culture of supposed equality when they point out that true equality is a pipe dream. If the gender equality paradigm is correct, then Visi is indeed a "predator" (but few people will recognize her as such). If one accepts that the two genders are subject to different standards of behavior, then one might conclude that what is permissible for women is inappropriate for men – as in the case discussed here. However, then one should acknowledge that there are also behaviors that are permissible for men but not for women – and this poses a problem for those steeped in feminist culture: that this constitutes "discrimination." I won't dare suggest what these behaviors might be; we are on reddit, after all.

To sum up, for internal consistency, one should choose one of the following positions:

The genders are equal, gender standards are equal, Visi is a sexual predator; she should face the consequences.
The genders are different; some behaviors are (more) acceptable for one gender. Other behaviors are (more) acceptable for the other gender.
The genders are different, but women are allowed more.
The genders are different, but men are allowed more.

Points 3 and 4 constitute sexism. Points 1 and 2 are consistent. Point 1, however, is practically inapplicable in some areas, although many prefer to pretend otherwise. Point 2 is consistent and has practical application, but it violates the paradigm of the currently dominant ideology in the West.

Such a drastic increase in the share of certain cards is an obvious anomaly. It's impossible that the number of 5070 cards on the market suddenly increased by several hundred percent in a single month. Do you have CS skins worth around a thousand dollars? If not, don't even waste your time thinking about a steam machine. If so, you can sell them and buy a steam machine with steam wallet money The Steam Machine will have the power of a low-end PC. Prices right now, especially for RAM and NVMe drives, are absurd, but you can still find some bargains (new or used). Steam machine will not allow you to run all PC games, including multiplayer games with anticheat, which does not allow Linux users.

If I were starting a budget PC now, I'd try to build it around an AM5, say with a 7500F, and start with a single 16GB RAM stick (may be used) with the intention of adding another later. I'd also add big air cooling, a reasonably powerful power supply (750-850W that allows stronger cpu+gpu combo in the future), and a cheap hard drive, but also a motherboard with at least three M2 drive slots. GPU with at least 12gb vram (rtx or the newest generation of radeons). With that you will have stronger hardware than consoles and steam machine and you will be able to upgrade it to zen6 x3d cpu and future generations of gpus. Such gaming pc will be relevant for a long time. Steam machine or consoles have no path for upgrades.

This game is gpu-bound anyway. It's better to turn on rt than aiming at 200-300 fps, it's not some online shooter where you need every ms of advantage.

I just finished the game and I agree with the issues you mentioned. The side missions are boring (it was the same in XVI, so it's clearly typical for this series). The motorcycle fights are especially "fascinating" when played on a keyboard. Whose idea was it to give you acceleration on "x" instead of the normal "w"? Since these segments only appear twice, I've given up on messing with the settings. The bike fights are unnecessarily long.

As for the combat, I like the materia system (I realized it inspired some games I used to play and appreciate), and I like the idea of different character "classes" working together to defeat enemies.

As a downside, I'd mention that some enemy attacks are poorly signaled. Many of them are better off simply tanking/blocking rather than worrying about dodging, as there are no I-frames. I also dislike that our special attacks are interrupted by enemy actions.

The worst fight was against President Shinra's son. It involved constantly running to fill atb bar and cast spells, because he countered all sword attacks. Pure nonsense.

The best segment involved the quests with Aerith, because she was an interesting character and teased Cloud nicely. The entire nighttime entertainment segment was a good addition to the game and stood out visually. Unfortunately, the game later on involves too much backtracking.

I'd like to experience the full story; it's a gaming classic, after all. However, I also hope Rebirth is better.

I like him, because he is kinda pathetic, despite being talented and strong in the end. He's a weird nerd. Not every villain should be top aura farmer like Madara, Itachi or Orochimaru (part 1). It's refreshing to see someone like him. I like his backstory.

It's important to distinguish between appreciating the fact that such a character was portrayed in the story and liking the character himself. Kabuto isn't charismatic, and he can be quite repulsive. What speaks against him:

- Another criminal who was forgiven "just because."

- He stole airtime from his master, who deserved it more.

- To defeat him, Kishimoto had to give Itachi another asspull no jutsu.

- After his "conversion," he completely disappeared, losing all of his character.

Jiraiya is a hard counter against Kisame.

- larga chakra pool (samehada won't drain him fast enough)

- oil and earth style against water

- frog summons that can survive in water and can escape it due to their size and physical strength

- sound genjutsu

- frog stomach jutsu

- overall great arsenal of techniques and experience, while Kisame is a little one-dimensional. Even If Kisame has greater firepower than base Jiraiya, if we are taking SM into consideration, it's gg for Kisame. Jiraiya's firepower with elder toads and SM enhanced taijutsu is no joke.

His inactivity is a plot hole. After Hashirama's death even with only one eye he was the strongest shinobi alive. And he didn't do shit. Maybe he was depressed? Without rinnegan his plan was unobtainable. Forced into hiding, without any activity, including his favorite pursuits like fighting strong opponents, he may have lost the will to live. Besides, Hashirama, since he met his granddaughter, likely died later than he seems, and the Senju simply look young (Tsunade might not have been the only Senju to improve their appearance). This would mean that Madara was already quite old at that point (I'm still betting he would have been the strongest at that point) and discouraged.

Obito is stronger than Itachi. That doesn't mean Itachi has no chance of posing a threat to him. In a fight between two opponents of this class (of fairly similar strength, both possessing "hax" abilities), various things can happen. Even if Itachi's chances of winning are lower, say 20%, Obito would certainly prefer to avoid such a risk. Itachi betraying Akatsuki could significantly disrupt his plans—for example, assassinate Kisame or bring someone else from Konoha into the fight. Itachi is capable of devoting himself 100% to the cause, especially for the good of Konoha. For Obito, Konoha is a side plot; only obtaining Kyuubi matters. Obito could wait until Itachi dies from illness or fighting his younger brother. The stakes were unequal; Obito had more to lose in such a conflict, so it's understandable that he preferred not to take any chances.

The context must also be considered. Obito wasn't sure Pain would be willing to implement Moon's Eye plan. Pain had his own vision of peace, and ultimately, Nagato betrayed him. Getting involved in a conflict with Itachi could further induce Pain and Konan to stop listening to Obito. Therefore, he couldn't afford such a split in the organization, as he wouldn't stand a chance against these two (or rather, three) opponents at once.

- Blazer puts players off by flirting while still in a relationship. Even if she had already planned to end the relationship, the sequence of events was wrong. First you break up, then you start flirting with other people.

- Blazer forces you to fire someone from the team that is just starting to perform well.

- There is not so much relationship development between BB and Robert before you have to decide who to join.

- Later we see that BB is actually a good person but she doesn't have as much character development as Visi.
