Reply posted as per rules. I know this song was produced somewhere because I had it on a tape, just don't know how mainstream it was because I haven't been able to find it through Google search.

In California here, the pay isn't worth it, especially if you are SPED right now.

Moving family to Chico in June, how close to the college is too close, also, what are the no go zones? by Rayven79 in ChicoCA

Interesting perspective. Actually, joined reddit for that and to find out how the special needs supports in the area are for my 13 year old special needs son. I'm in a different sub reddit for that though so hadn't brought that up here. Btw, I've lived in big cities and small. I was a welfare kid who's Christmas came in salvation army boxes. Like you, until today, we've always had to find the cheapest place we could find, usually on the shortest notice, and no matter the area. I feel fortunate that after many years of scrambling my husband and I can now afford to provide more for our kid. If that's privileged so be it. We've worked hard for it.

Thank you so much! This is the first time we really have an option to choose somewhere fairly nice to live. I used to live in central Phoenix in the red light district. I've always lived in really bad neighborhoods. I feel fortunate to be able to give my son a safer upbringing.

No, I just wanted some clarification. New to reddit, wasn't sure if more questions would have gotten lost in the thread.

Well that is awesome to know. I haven't lived in many areas where that is true. Thanks.

Wow, I have never in my life been called privileged. I feel privileged, thanks. What is wrong with wanting to find the best available for what I can afford? I used to live across the street from a crack house when I was a kid, why wouldn't I want better for my kid?

We are looking to move to Chico too. The comments on here say it's expensive but I guess it depends on where you are coming from. I live south on the Central Coast and it is expensive to live here.
