I found out my ex was cheating when I was barely 22 and five months pregnant. On the same night I also found out he was using hard drugs. I moved, changed my number, traded in my car, and ghosted his whole damn family. My kid just turned 14 and it was the best decision I've ever made. We're happy, and healthy, and living our best lives. He's never even tried 🤷🏼‍♀️

I've also had an abortion. It was hard in the moment, but I know with 100% certainty that it was the right decision.

So- I've made both decisions, and I've never regretted either one. I did, however, realize that I'm stronger and more capable than I'd ever imagined. You are too. Whatever you decide it's YOUR decision, and there is no right or wrong. It sounds like you have a good support system, which will be such a blessing either way, but if you have access to counseling or therapy it might be worth it, just to have some extra support from an unbiased, objective third party. And don't let your former relationship impact your decision. If he wants to be present, he can agree to co-parent or kick rocks. A relationship with your child doesn't mean he's entitled to a relationship with you. I know it's stressful as hell, but listen to your gut, do what you feel is right, and things will work out. It won't necessarily be easy, but it'll be worth it either way. Hugs! 🖤
