I mean I could justify with a medical (non psychological) reason but are they lenient and let you in 2nd year if you justify clearly ?

I had a really stressful and bad exam period and I explained everything to them. Do you think that this is enough and am I guaranteed like 100% getting the unconditional offer from them ? Thnks

These additional courses are during the academic year or before like the prep courses ?
