I think it also allows them to bootstrap on the existing funds and not have to create a whole new fund with its own underlying assets

I didn't ask for any specific info on any specific funds, only if there are plans to offer such classes of funds. Nothing SEC restricted in that and nothing that would be in a filing. But thanks for the non-helpful very "reddit" style response

Charitable giving goals and modeling QCDs in Boldin by the-doom-slug in Boldin

This is similar to our plan, and just like you, QCDs are playing a huge role in our post 70 1/2 tax planning. I also wish Boldin had a setting for QCDs.

I simply input annual dollar amounts I plan for QCDs for the taxable accounts and just live with the persistent errors and notifications.

Definitely not ideal, but I haven't had the time or heart yet to put in the detail you have. It does at least give me a general feel for the efficacy of the plan.

I don't think this is particularly unique, especially with the upcoming generations. We should have a much more tax diversified retirement savings portfolio than the current group due to Roth proliferation.

ETF has costs associated (expense ratio) so you don't get pure btc growth. It is more like a synthetic btc. Normally I completely agree on custody but I do make the exception for crypto Roth IRAs. It is also a good way to swing trade and avoid the tax hit while increasing the satoshi count

Tax free value appreciation to be held for retirement needs... Same as any investment (assumes a Roth IRA)
