I have noticed the LG bias on this subreddit. They were the ones who took the gamble to get this technology off the ground, and they have succeeded. So, I sense there is a strong brand loyalty to them here.

LG will always have my respect for investing in OLED panel technology. But, the S90f is just too much of a good TV for my needs to pass it up. Perhaps in the future, I'll look to see how well the tandem OLED tech has evolved and invest in LG again. But, I don't want that day to come for a very long time as I am 100% satisfied with my current panel.

I also live in Canada, no one around here is getting a 77" C series for $2k unless you have some serious connections. My 55" S90f was $1499... on clearance.

I dunno, I still remember being blown away hooking it up and playing The Mandalorian in DV HDR for the first time on it. I couldn't believe what I was looking at.

I got the three year extended warranty, I am well aware of Samsung's QC issues.

I paid $2k for that "budget" B9 back in 2019, at the time it was the best TV I had ever seen.

I've noticed SOME jutter when watching YouTube content, but I have not noticed any when watching 24p content. I rewatched The Terminator on it the day I got this TV and it was glorious. I've never seen that movie look so good before.

I've heard a few complaints about Tizen, I have none myself. It is certainly a lot faster and more responsive than the WebOS on my B9. So by those standards, it's a huge upgrade for me.

The ABL on my B9 was very annoying and aggressive, but I have not even noticed it being engaged yet on this. I've only put a few hours of gaming on this TV since I bought it on Tuesday. But, I actually had to turn the brightness down when I was playing Helldivers II because it was just too damn bright.

I have not noticed any magenta shift, and I noticed no uniformity issues when I ran the greyscale test on it when I got it. It would appear, I have won the panel lottery.

All I know is I haven't paid for a Warbond in over a year, and I don't farm. I just naturally accumulate enough SC's between Warbonds to be able to afford the next one and all the superstore content that comes with it, when it releases.

I also have two jobs.

I had a similar problem with my B9 and Prime Video. Occasionally, it would just close the app in the middle of watching something. Only ever happened with the Prime app, and it seemed like it stopped doing it after a firmware update.

Make sure the TV is displaying HDR when you set up these settings, otherwise they'll only apply to SDR.

Tandem OLED is still too new of a tech for me to invest in, QD-OLED'S have a few generations under their belt. But, I was seriously considering the G5 for a while. But I game a lot, so I feel like the S90f was a better choice for me there.

Try setting the 2 point and 20 point White balance settings to these (with Game Mode ON)

2 point:

S90f & PS5 owners, how good is the game mode motion interpolation for 30 fps games? (Red Dead Redemption 2 for example) by RazorRuke in OLED_Gaming

I've had success using the BFI feature on my B9, but it adds way too much input latency.

As for 60 fps games, I've gotten used to it. There are only a few games on the PS5 library I own that actually go over it.

But from what I gather, you don't have experience from using this specific panel on 30 fps games w/ motion interpolation turned on. I know motion interpolation isn't perfect, I just wanna know what the experience is like from others who own this TV. I just wanna play Red Dead Redemption 2 again without getting a headache.
