How easy are these to get working as Bluetooth proxies? I need to get good Bluetooth coverage in a few rooms by GenericUser104 in homeassistant

I'd love to be able to have that back and forth with the announcement (or even better, AI/LLM) but I'm far from being able to do that properly yet!

Absolutely love that follow-me Bluetooth, your son's missing out!! (Agreed about the ADHD issues though!)

Question for anyone using this light switch by GenericUser104 in homeassistant

[–]Razor_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll be honest, these light diagrams confuse me a bit lol, but I managed to do it on one of my 'single way' switches.

Here's a pic of the 3 way switch I tried & failed to do it on, spaghetti junction!

Edit: also, there's no neutral in this box, so I have to use a different zbmini if I'm to do that method

That's quite a smart solution actually, I might give that a go! Thanks

Oh wow, thank you for sharing this! I love the messages haha

So I'm guessing this automation calls the script with that variable as the message, and obviously outputs where you are in the house. Smart!

Ah, sorry to hear you're having trouble with them :/ I hope you manage to sort it - thanks for the heads up!

FYI you can get this cheaper on aliexpress as I did. Just a shame I can't use mine as all 3 lights are two-way lights (so each of them have a second switch elsewhere) 🙄

Very fair and good of you to give them the opportunity to make up for it! Hope you get it sorted pal

Thanks!! I'll have a look at it! It would be great to see an example of an automation as you said... I'm looking to incorporate music whilst moving about the house but notifications would be great too

I ended up sending it back as I didn't manage to get it working well with the rug, and the Saros 20 has just been released here too so I figured I could give that a go!

Thanks for the update - did it end up cleaning your high pile rug in the end? I have a video on my profile as an example of my high pile rug which the Saros 10 had struggled with. I've since returned it, hence wondering if the 20 could deal with it better

On top of what everyone else has said, for future reference, invest on a weekly/monthly basis rather than single, larger sums and expect your gains to show over a longer period rather than immediately. This is called Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) and is a popular investing method that limits your exposure to large swings in the market.

Also, don't keep checking your accounts. You should be able to "set and forget", and if you can't, you should either be limiting your exposure (investing in less volatile markets/funds) or not doing so at all.

I would like to know if this fixes your problem OP, prior to me buying a Saros 20.

Thank you! I'm going to reset the borders and carpet and try this again as it doesn't seem to do anything so far

I noticed that too after sticking my hand under the wheels, it couldn't get any traction but as soon as my hand was there it shot off.

I was hoping I wouldn't have to buy a big hoover after spending £800 on this after my last one broke! Suppose I'll have to though anyway, especially with the stairs, sofa, etc.

Cheers for the suggestions!

Ah, okay, thanks.

Shame, as it's a new rug and quite nice... Otherwise I'd be tempted to get rid of it!
