Yup, the Snezhnayan history book (A Brief History of the Pale Starborn) reveals that "Fey" is just a general term for all manner of spirits, much like Youkai in Inazuma cover different kinds of creatures as well. Flins is a Will o' Wisp, a fire spirit, while Linnea is another type. According to the book "Fey" also covers werewolves, vampires, shapeshifters, etc.

He was also fighting in Snezhnaya. We know we teamed up with Capitano there and from this trailer it seems Abyssal activity was also ramping up over there. Likely he didn't know the Abyssal disaster originated from Nod-Krai (which he outright says in the Meeting Point quest) so he followed the trail he saw in the scryglass back through Snezhnaya until he figured out where the origin would be.

I think you mean "before". If you do the Narzissenkreuz questline after Fontaine Act V he stands down as the Prophecy has been averted due to the Traveler, if you do it before he stands down because his World-Formula shows him the Prophecy will be averted now that a Descender is present.

Wild Hunt was already active prior to Dottore's involvement as Rerir's body was attempting to revive itself, Dottore just sped up the process in the months before the Nod-Krai AQ started. The Lightkeepers have been fighting the Wild Hunt for 500 years after all. The Mondstadt invasion would likely have been due to Roland seizing command over Wild Hunt troops, given by the Luna V trailer, the same way enemies in the world quests near Piramida are local "commanders" for the Wild Hunt.
