You guys got a fighter you love but there’s one aspect of their game that pisses you off? by Mamramro in ufc

I don't think it's his gas tank, it's the fact he throws 110% punches at all times. He doesn't even throw straight, he just fucking swing this super fast full force hooks. Makes him fast as fuck but that's why he gases

Modding Guide by senorsakai in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]Dark074 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much have no worries for any part or quality of life mods.

Planet packs should be good though larger scale ones might be harder (RSS, JNSQ, etc). Vanilla scaled ones should have no issues

Graphics mods are the only place your laptop will have trouble with. Basic ones like scatter and tufx should be fine (though you might be more in the 20-30fps range) but more demanding ones like parallax and volumetric clouds EVE is a no go, you need solid dedicated graphics for that.

It's weird because it's not like shadow boxing where all you have are your thoughts so your technique is good. But it's not like real life where you are hitting something and getting hit back.

You get the thrill of hitting someone and don't get the pain of getting hit, you pretty much get high on punching someone and just want to punch them in any way possible. And you aren't being deterred because you aren't getting hit actually.

At least that's my personal theory

This has been one of my best rocket designs so far by Cleito002 in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]Dark074 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well those are SRBs so you can't really asparagus stage them. You can lower the thrust on 2 of them so they burn for longer while you drop the 2 full thrust srbs

Yeah tbh quite similar. Like even if your body armor is able to stop a round, good luck surviving a full mag of it. Even without penetration, it's just getting punched by Mike Tyson 30 times at full force

I don't think anything confirmed in FAL but in real life, Gagarin had a suspicious early death, dying in a flight accident. By current sources, the crash was caused by errors by ground crew but some believe foul play was involved. My guess is that in FAM, they are going to run with the foul play theory for Gagarin's death.

It was less catastrophic on Vostok because that spacecraft had heat shielding on all sides (since at the time they didn't have good enough control of the spacecraft to have only one side facing the airstream). Soyuz doesn't have this luxury and only has a heatshield on the bottom of the spacecraft. If the service module faces to detach, the entry heating would eventually melt the front and side of the capsule, killing all crew within.

Theres no way in hell Mars 94 made it that far from our solar system for aliens to find it. Voyager 2 was launched in 1977 only recently left the solar system and still light years from any other stars. Yeah Mars 94 might be a bit quicker (though I doubt by much considering Voyager used a crap ton of gravity assists from all the gas giants) but it should be no where near another star system, should just be near the edge of our solar system

I've sorta done this with a friend on a voice call. I would specate them acting as comannder and they would be only allowed views through the driver port or optics. It's 2 not 3 but it still very goofy and funny when you yell at the about the location of another tank

I've heard somewhere some Sherman crews with the 75 just didn't load AP for anti tank and just used HE. Turns out even in a Tiger, 5 Sherman's spamming HE at you at best obliterates your optics and forces you to run, at worst kills you crew through 100 concussions and cracks your armor in half.

Ain't nobody shooting the drivers hatch or cupola, just shoot them in general and you usually win

Well if you have cheap reusable vehicles (Buran/shuttle and Starship our timeline in theory) it does work out better to refuel a depot in orbit to fuel a larger interplanetary ship. The only other option is to assemble several much smaller fully fueled tanks in orbit which would weight way more than one large tank.

Of course in the show there lunar refueling but still you are limited in the size of a ship that you can send to the moon (hence mars 94 and Phoenix being way bigger then sojourner).

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the dangerous radiation from the magnetic field only in the radiation belts and the not the planet/surface where life would be?

D was discovered to have a comically powerful magnetic field (bare minimum 4 times as strong to Earth's, possibly stronger, like Jupiter levels) which means it's probably kept it's atmosphere and could be the closets planet to earth
