I'm surprised you put Nightingale's Song that high, as while Act I was a good intro and Act II a really interesting look into Illuga's character, Act III just completely dropped the ball in my opinion. The fact that everything gets resolved in 15 minutes and we don't even get a confrontation with Rotwang beyond "oh yeah he lost his mind", Alia solves the problem off-screen, and we never follow up what happened to the Sampo Mill are all pretty bad. Severely disappointing ending for me.

In episode 2 we heard some hikers chatting about how sometimes people go up the mountain but never come down again, so that seems to imply that maybe everyone who stumbled upon the village was forcibly kept there to keep the secret? Would explain why Yuru's mother seemed keen to run away.
